One of those wonderfully weird Japanese releases that could only have come out in the ’60s.
This 1966 EP was released at the peak of Batman fever in Japan, pairing the original Johnny’s with Jackey Yoshikawa & His Blue Comets. It’s a fun mix of TV theme energy, Group Sounds, and surf-inspired instrumentals, with that unmistakable Showa-era charm.
Not something you come across every day, especially if you’re into Japanese pop culture, Batman oddities, or vintage GS records. Definitely one of those records that’s as fun to own as it is to play.

Like which company made it? I accidentally crushed two of my original ones and I’m trying to buy identical replacement shells. Its corners are rounded, unlike most modern cassette cases, which are usually boxy and angular, and many of the small design details really appeal to me.
