A short notice - Indians are not ready for the ideology of Gynarchism.(Mahila Raj).

In my previous post, I made regarding women's resrvation, no-where I mentioned that I am against women's reservation, I was giving my point of view that it can be a scam and I don't know why some guys got so irritated that they decided to downvote. If you still want to believe in women's reservation in parliament in this patriarchal society, fine I don't have any issue.

However, today I would like to discuss about why Indians are not ready for the ideology of Gynarchism. The first incident I'll talk about is a friend in Karolbagh in Delhi, to whom I had met and discussed the idea of a Gynarchy which I translated to Hindi lamguage as "Mahila Raj".He said that he believed that women should get equal rights and oppurtunities, but he was against treating women as the intellectually superior gender. I tried to explain it to him, that treating women as the superior gender doesn't mean treating them as a god and they can still be held accountable in a gynarchy. But he did not agree. Next, a girl of my college once called me, because she was getting bored, to her and I told her about the concept of matriarchy, she was like "ohh you are talking about those Khasi and Garo tribes of North-east India" , which disappointed me because those tribes where hardly matriarchial, I tried to explain her the concept of gynarchy but she was feeling bored so I had to change the topic.

Next, came my college nerdy sharp-looking friend whom I would call by the nickname of Yuva. I explained to Yuva one night in a call about the ideology of gynarchism, and he was like - "Yeah maybe a Gynarchy can work, but you have make the men agree with you more, which they are never going to do" and second he did consider women as the intellectually superior gender but not superior in overall sense because men still have physical strength and women can still do dumb things.

Nevertheless, my Gynarchic beliefs are not going to go anytime soon, and I still would try to work to expand this community and second if you are Feminist, Men's Rights Activism, patriarchial Hindu-nationalist who lurking here, men and women alike, please contribute to this community atleast by challenging my beliefs, I am open to constructive criticism(without insults) as much as you like rather than simply coming here and downvoting me. !

A short notice - Dear Gynarchists don't support the scam of women's reservations in parliament in a patriarchial paternalistic society.

I know this topic might not be liked by you guys, but unfortunately I thought this should be in my best interest to inform you guys about women's reservation. On paper, women's reservations in parliament of India introduced by the BJP government looks like a good deal. But once, you go deeper into it, it is a scam, an absolute scam! which people in our country are not understanding. Yesterday I was thought to go through the satirical website called Cockroach Janta Party ( translation : Cockroach People's Party), and there also they thought that giving women 50% reservation in parliament would benefit them, but I would disagree very hardly. Because if Indian political parties were concerned so much about women, they should rather try to give competent women more party tickets to contest elections, but no they don't want competent women, they want women who say "Yes Sir" for them. So basically what the ruling parties will do, they will stand puppet women in elections, idiotic people would blindly look at their party symbol and vote for them and congrats !, now they are in the parliament serving their ruling masters and not the common folk and especially not women. This is how politics is played in India, by fooling the people.

The Chief Minister of Delhi and majority of women in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (almost 54%), comprise of women, however, almost all these women are part of the ruling party of our country. Has Delhi become a save place for women and men alike?, ask this question to yourself. 😉😉

Nevertheless, in a hypothetical gynarchist nation, women's reservation as we know it would not be required as a gynarchy would be de-facto and de-jure would have top-positions vested with women. (I also personally believe that a gynarchy would be more like a benevolent dictatorship rather than a flawed democracy, but these are solely my personal thoughts and not anyone else here. Also I am advocating for my thoughts here. You guys can believe whatever you want.)

I also believe that women would be turned into scapegoats, if they turn out to be incompetent, like the Chief-Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta is mocked everyday by misogynistic trolls for even the slightest mistakes. (Granted that she might not be that good in managing things, but the ways she is mocked, I don't like it)

Hi, I wouldn't be able to make a post for the next 2-3 weeks.

When I joined this sub, I wanted to make more India-centric Gynarchic posts-I had so many topics in my mind - Tackling the issue of Marital rape laws in India and how Gynarchy can provide a common ground for people who are for and against criminalizing marital rape, the issues with Indian instagram feminism, my own experiences with Indian women in real life, the issues with Indian incels and many more, unfortunately, all these topics would require lot of time and investment for me and right now I am very busy with my college admissions for post-grad courses.

However, I would request other people in this sub, that if you want this sub to feel alive, keep on posting on new topics, as new posts would attract more flood from the internet, no matter how bad, controversial or how many downvotes you get, it would always attract new people here. Just make sure there is not too much mysogyny nor extreme misandry here, as it can disturb conversations.

An Alternate history of India - The Hindu Gynarchist Republic of India.

Flag of the Hindu Gynarchist Republic of India in alternate universe. The Orange colour depicting Hindu religion and customs of India , and the purple depicting customs the ideology of Gynarchism which is distinct from the mainstream pink colour ideology of Feminism.

Please note-The below text is made for entertainment purposes not for actual discussion, so don't take it too seriously. Also the below text has got nothing to do with real life history, it is just a fantasy world of an alternate universe I created. Generally, I write articles for serious topics, this I just wrote for fun.

I know the above flag looks like a badly edited one which seems to be made by some school kid, in his word document in computer, but honestly I don't how to use Canva, it would take lot of time to learn that, if you know how to use Canva please fix the above flag !.

So basically in this alternate timeline of history, we would see the establishment of Hindu Gynarchist Republic of India. But how would this happen, let's see -

In British India, an intellectual feminist thinker by the name of Begum Rokeya, would hypothesise about a "Gynarchy" were women would reign supreme and men would be subordinate to women, for that she would establish the underground Gynarchist League, the Gynarchist League would soon start gaining numbers from women who would try to escape from clutches of the widespread patriarchy at that time especially women who are forced to stay inside "Zenanas" in both both Hindu and Muslim households and are forced to wear ghunghats or burkha.

The Gynarchist League, however at that time would be rejected by mainstream feminist leaders like Sarojini Naidu, who would attached to the Indian National Congress Party, the political party fighting for India's Independence. Thus, the Gynarchist League would remain underground for many years to come.

In this timeline, the Hindu nationalists would be more radical and militant, the intellectual Hindutva thinker V D Savarkar who is the leader of the Hindu Mahasabha Party ( translation-Hindu Grand Council Party), would unite all Hindu nationalist groups with the Hindu Mahasabha , and establish the Hindu Revolutionary Force , a militant organization which would seek to overthrow the British Raj of India and establish a Hindu theocracy in India. The HRF, would get lot of funding from Nazi Germany, but after the Nazis get defeated in world war 2, HRF funding would decline and the group would have to rely on western countries like USA to get some funding.

The India, would gain independence and the Republic of India would be fully established with adoption of the 1950 constitution as in our timeline, but the HRF would reject the this new country as this new republic would be dominated by the Congress Party, Howver, in this timeline, the Congress Party would become more authoritarian under Prime Minister Nehru, the Right to Vote would not be enshrined in the Indian Constitution and thus India would become a one party dictatorship under the Congress Party.

The Congress regime of India would be socialist and secular but would be totally dependent on the Soviet Union for industrialisation, arms and ammunition and infrastructure building. In 1964, Prime Minister Nehru would die and his postion would be directly be given to his daughter Indira Gandhi. the country of Pakistan, which had partitioned from India during it's independence in 1947, would come under the military dictatorship of Ayub Khan in 1958.

Pakistan at that time 1960s, would consist of two countries on both sides of India , West and East Pakistan, both united by a common government and both being muslim majority country.

In 1962, the Cuban missile crises, would lead the USA and it's NATO alliance and the Soviet Union and it's communist countries, to launch nuclear ballistic missiles, which would lead to massive destruction in some regions of the western part of Europe, USA would also suffer from some destruction but since it's cities are more evenly spread out, the USA would not suffer the brunt of destruction throughout it's vast terrirtorial land. However, Soviet Union with's capital Moscow and major cities like St. Petersburg would be totally obliterated at most of the population centers would be concentrated in the Russian heartland and communism and civilization, both would rapidly collapse in Warsaw pact countries like Poland, Hungary, Czachoslovakia due to the start of the Nuclear winter in northern hemisphere hemisphere.

Russians would settle south and establish the Holy Russian Empire in Central Asia, due to rise of religiousity after the apocalypse, with would be an Orthodox Christian civilization ruled by Queen Anastasia Romanov with prime minister Konstantin Rodzaevsky (former member of Russian Fascist Party) in 1960s, who had survived the assassination of Russian royal family in Soviet Union in 1922. However, it would be strict agrarian patriarchial nation, with Russian women mostly doing the job of famers and housewives due to rise of ultra-conservatism and revival of Orthodox Church after collapse of atheist communism.

Canada would suffer immensely from the Nuclear Winter, and would suffer civilizational collapse while in USA, population would shift to Sun-belt cities of Houstan,Texas,Phoenix,Las Vegas and Miami. The hippie culture and sexual revolution would be more prevalent in USA in 1960s, as well as the religion of Wicca and establishment of some Christian denominations centred around the worship of Mother Mary as well as the rise of 2nd wave feminism which would be more intense under leaders like Andrea Dworkin,Valerie Solanas and Shulamith Firestone which would slowly transform USA into a Gynarchist nation by using members members to infiltrate the Democratic Party of USA.

However, the US military presence would collapse in Vietnam,Cambodia and Laos, and the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia would become the most powerful group and conquer all the three countries abandoned by USA.

USA's allies, South Korea and Japan would become high-tech technocratic corporatist regimes with both countries being ruled by Liberal Democratic Parties who become more authoritarian. The British,French and Portuguese colonies would try to hold onto their dear colonies in Africa after facing devastation from Nuclear War which would to a rise of another settler colonialism as well as British colonies in Arabia, thus gulf nations like UAE and Qatar would never be created. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would not develop and would remain a backward tribal region due to less USA involvement in the region as the USA tried to be less reliant on petroluem and become more isolationist. Syria's military dictatorship would collapse and civilian Ba'ath Party under Michel Aflaq would emerge in 1963,only to be replaced be by the Syrian Social Nationalist Party of Antoun Sadeh. THis new Fascist Syria under the SSNP party would conquer Iraq,Lebanon,Palestine and Jordan and create Greater Syria. However, Isreal would be left alone. Kingdom of Iran would collapse into an Islamist revolution in 1979 just like in our timeline and the Kingdom of Afganistan would be transformed into Communist Afghanistan in the 1976. Rest of the world would carry on.

Coming back to India, the Congress regime in India would try to enact progressive laws like the Hindu Marriage Act in 1956 to give women property and alimony rights which heavily opposed by the patriarchial Hindu Revolutionary Force. Now after the destruction of the Soviet Union, Congress ruled -India faced severe economic and development challenges in it's infrastructure building projects. To make matters worse, the Military dictatorship of Pakistan under Ayub Khan declared war on India in 1965, as Pakistan wanted to capture the resource rich Himalayan Kashmir region.

The Indo-Pakistan War of 1965 would be much more longer and much more devastating for both the countries as this would be a fight for survival, major in cities in India like Delhi,Amritsar,Lucknow,Kolkata etc. would be heavily bombarded by airstrikes, and miltary tanks would bombard major infrastucture facilities like schools, hospital, gas stations etc. However, more than India , Pakistan would face further devastation as major cities like Lahore and Karachi would be totally devastated by years of war, and by 1967, when war would finally end, entire West Pakistan government would collapse with it's military dictatorship, Ayub Khan himself would be killed in battle and West Pakistan would become a devastated lawless land divided between Islamists,Socialists, tribal chieftains and military warlords while East Pakistan would become a new country called Bangladesh under the one party dictatorship of Awami League of Sheikh Mujibur Rehman and it's paramilitary force Rakhi Bahini.

After the war in 1967, Congress ruled Republic of India would be plunged into the civil war as widespread malnutrition, poverty and famine caused by the war would make Indira Gandhi's Congress Party unpopular, more and more people would thus join the Hindu Revolutionary Force who provided and alternative. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi would thus pass the draconian Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in 1967 to capture Hindu Nationalists but that would not stop HRF as many of the the Indian Army men deserted to join the HRF and finally the Congress government in it's capital was overthrown and Indira Gandhi died in the battle.

In 1968, the Hindu Rashtra or the Hindu Republic of India was officially proclaimed by the Hindu Revolutionary Force with M S Gowalkar now serving as the Supreme Commander of India and Balraj Madhok as the Prime Minister.

This new radical Hindu-nationalist government would be very different from our timeline, they would bombard the remaing concrete infrastructure after the war and replace with it with stone or marble buildings whose architecture would be similar to that of the temple architecture of the ancient Gupta Empire. Men and women would be forced to wear traditional dresses in most public areas, like the saree and salwar kameez for women and the dhoti kurta for men with a Hindu morality police checking there dress, women would be unable to get property under their name as the laws in the new Hindu Republic would be dictated by Hindu patriarchial texts like Yajnavalkya Smriti and Manusmrit. Women would also find it difficult to get remarried in their widowhood which would lead to a revival of the barbaric practice of Sati where women would burn themselves in their husband's name as they would find it difficult to hold property under their name after the death of their husband, as for the religious minorities in the country like Muslims and Christians who are considered outsiders to the Indian subcontinent, umm... it is better not to discuss. Population would also shifted to village communitarian areas and cities would suffer from de-urbanization and de-industrialization as industrialization, socialism and capitalism are seen as western "stuff". The Hindu -nationalist government of India also decided to conquer and take over war torn Pakistan as well as Awami-League ruled Bangladesh thus establishing Akhand Bharat (translation -United India), The Kingdom of Nepal (which is Hindu -Majority) and Kingdom of Bhutan(which is Buddhist-majority) would also decide to join this new Hindu Republic of India due to fear of being annexed by anti-religious Maoist China ruled CCP leader Mao Zedong.

However, the way women were treated in this Hindu-nationalist country was not liked by the majority of women, and many of them joined the underground Gynarchist League, the Gynarchist League led by feminists like Madhu Khishwar, now dominated by women launched a second civil war in India, the Hindu-nationalist government retaliated but now India's 60% male population had been obliterated in all the wars and famines thus numbers were favourable on the women's side. Supreme Leader M.S. Gowalkar (who after this died due to ill health) replaces Prime Minister Balraj Madhok with a moderate leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee but all negotiations with the Gynarchist women fell and finally the Gynarchists captured Delhi in 1975.

The Hindu Gynarchist Republic was thus established with it's state religion as a matriarchal form of Hinduism centred on worshipping Goddess Kali, and Vatsyana's Kamasutra which treats women in better respect,(not only made of eroticism) is given more importance than all the other Smritis.

The Hindu Gynarchist Republic of India would be near to the patriarchial and backward Holy Russian Empire but Communist Afghanistan would act like a buffer state.

In this new Hindu Gynarchist Republic , men would own less property than women, all of them would be allowed to have education which would as per there needs but women would likely surpass men in education as more and more would be encouraged to pursue education. Also more likely as it would be considered that the Nuclear Apocalypse was caused by men's ego combined with knowledge, thus there would be more encouragement of women. in academic and professional studies. Thus the IQ level of some men might decline due to the Flynn Effect due to lack of education so much so that by the year 2050, people would hardly remember a time that in Congress-ruled India, men in the majority of time used to operate Nuclear reactors.

In this new Gynarchist India, men would mostly serve as concubines for pleasure purposes for women, househusbands because there strength is considered good for housework or as workmen like construction workers but under the authority of women thus men would become the subordinate class. There would be technological progress but less urbanisation as population would be controlled by this Gynarchist nation and solar power and nuclear power would work as the main source of energy.

The world would see a peace with minor skirmishes for next hundreds of years during this timeline.

So that's what I wrote based on imagination for fun, the above text is not meant for serious academic discussions of any kind.

The End.

A story of "Caste System" and "Caste politics" in India and how it affects Indian women

A pyramid showing the historical caste system in India.

CHAPTER 1 - BACKGROUND OF CASTE.

"Caste" in India is a divisive thing in our country, and seriously one irritating one. But, unfortunately without understanding caste we cannot understand the societal framework of this country, and it is affecting the women inside our country. Now, India is a large country with the predominant Hindu religion, however the Hindu religion is further divided into various ethnicities with their own languages, like Tamil,Telugu,Marathi,Bengali etc. with the predominant Hindi-speaking people controlling the Hindi Heartland of India. (The region comprising the capital New Delhi and the states of Uttar Pradesh,Madhya Pradesh,Haryana, Rajasthan etc.)while the other ethnic groups control the following states in India-

Tamil ethinc group - State of Tamil Nadu

Telugu ethnic group -States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Marathi ethnic group -State of Maharashtra( with it's capital Mumbai(before called Bombay) consdered as the financial capital of India.

Bengali ethnic group - State of West Bengal.

and many more ....

Now the ethnicities are further divided into various castes, with a few dominant castes. The word Dominant Caste was coined by Indian sociologist M N Srinivas, the dominant castes were basically castes groups who had land and manpower under their control. Like we like in the Hindi -Heartland you will see the Yadav and Gujjar Caste, under the Marathi people, the Marathas are the dominant caste, under the Telugu people, the Reddys are the dominant caste and so on.

To understand the complex caste structure of India, Hinduism had a simply heirarchy to categorize them called the caste system or basically the varna system -

Brahmins- (Not that weird creature you see in Fallout video game). These people were preists and scholars who used to perform religious rituals in Hindu temples, historically many of them enjoyed privalege, land and patronage from Kings, however, they also faced persecution at times in Islamic Kingdoms, because they were after all religious preists. They are futher divided into various sub-castes like Kankubja Brahmins and use surnames like Sharma, Trivedi,Dwivedi,Swami,Goswami,Pandey etc.

Kshatriyas- These people were were basically rulers of various kingdoms in the early ancient period of India. They also served as warriors in battlefields, the most prominant of Kshatriyas were the Rajput caste, who had established various kingdoms in the medieval period. They generally use surnames like Thakur.

Vaishya Caste- Also called the Bania caste, they were basically a mercantile class historically, and very prosperous. They used surnames like Aggarwal or Gupta. In the south Tamil region, you have the Chettiar caste. However, there once a time they ruled over the entire Northern India under the Gupta Empire.

**Shudra Caste -**These people historically served as farmers or various other tradesmen, the Indian government categorises them as Other Backward Castes (or OBCs), and gives tries to give them privaleges. Some of the prominent OBC castes are Mauryas,Yadavs,Gujjars,Marathas,Jats in the northern part of India and Vanniyars in the southern Tamil region of India. But here is the catch, the OBCs where not always as downtrodden as the Indian schooltext books would like you to believe as they had established various historical empires like the Mauryan Empire,Maratha Empire,Gujara-Pratihara Empire etc.

The above are called Savarna Castes, as they come under the caste heierarchy, now we have the Avarna Castes sometimes called Outcastes-

Dalit/Tribal/Lower Shudra Caste- The Dalits sometimes called lower Shudras, or OutCastes, they were historically the most downtrodden, either they used to lives in jungles of India as Tribals, or they used to be untouchables thus the government categorizes them as Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes. Some prominent examples of Scheduled Caste/Secheduled Tribes are the Meena Caste,Musahar Caste in Northern India.

Now you will say, if the Shudras(OBCs) were considered downtrodden, how were they able to establish such large empires like the Mauryan Empire ?.

The answer to that, is what M N Srinivas calls Sanskritisation of caste, where the lower caste groups tried to adopt the historical Sanskrit language and customs of Upper Castes along with land grants from Kings and tried to move up in heirarchy. The Caste system was not always a fixed system as the school textbook tries to present it.

Thus, we can say India is divided among Ethnicity,Caste and Religion. So if a person says I am a Hindu Bengali Brahmin where-

Hindu-Religion

Bengali-Ethnicity

Brahmin-Caste

CHAPTER 2 - CASTE POLITICS IN INDIA - In British India, the caste system had become more rigid, there was widespread untouchability against the Dalit caste, at that time, The Indian National Congress Party was the leading political party for India's independence from the British Empire, which was led by Mahatma Gandhi. However, the Congress Party was dominated by upper caste men and women at that time. This was not liked by a social activist called B.R. Ambedkar, who demanded political representation of the Dalit people as well as in government jobs and facilities. In British India, in 1909 , under the Indian Councils Act, when Indians first time won the right to vote in Indirect elections(however at that time only few were eligible) the British decided to play divide and rule policy by giving seperate electorates to Hindus and Muslims in India, so the Hindus would vote for Congress Party only and Muslims would vote for Muslim League only which finally led to partition of British India in Hindu majority-India and Muslim majority-Pakistan in 1947

Now, B.R. Ambedkar wanted seperate electorates for Dalits as well, which was hugely opposed by the Congress Party especially, by Mahatma Gandhi, who believed this would divide the entire Hindu society. Finally the Poona Pact was signed in 1932, between Congress Party and B R Ambedkar who gave up his demand for seperate electorates and instead the Dalits would now get some reservation of seats in the Legislature. Unfortunately, the seats reserved for Dalits were also won by the Congress Party and not by B R Ambedkar's Scheduled Caste Federation.

In Post-Independent India, in the late 1940s and 1950s, the Congress Party became the dominant political party of India at both national level and state level so much so that it came to be known as the era of one-party dominance by political scientist Rajni Kothari. The Congress Party led by Prime Minister Nehru, decided to appease the Dalits and Tribals by giving them some amount of reservation in the government jobs and universities. However, the Congress Party was against giving job reservations to vast majority of Shudra people or the Other Backward Caste as they believed that it can undermine meritocracy in public sector.

The Congress Party wanted to envision an India which was Socialist with Capitalist features,Protectionist with high tariffs,Industrialised and scientifically advanced. (No matter they were infleuenced a lot by Soviet Union).

However, there were other groups like the Communist Party of India led by EMS Namboodripad, who wanted to appease the OBC castes and they came first in the state of Kerala in 1957(the first Non-Congress Party ruled state), the first thing they did was to increase the job reservations to include OBC castes as well which led to lot of violent clashes and what not.

Even, worse in the state of Tamil Nadu, the Dravidian movement took place, which was led by C N Annadurai and and a man known as Periyar, they Dravidianist ideology believed that Tamil people, their language and customs are very different from that of Northern part of India, hence the state of Tamil Nadu must seperate from the Republic of India. They also believed that Brahmin people of North had come to the Tamil region and had sided with Tamil Kings and had subjugated Tamil people for centuries. Hence, the Tamil Brahmins were also not spared in the Dravidian movement and were often ridiculed by Dravidianist politicians. The DMK party which led the Dravidianist Movement in State of Tamil Nadu, demanded for seperation of Tamil Nadu from India, and they even destroyed a monument of Mahatma Gandhi. However, they later changed their rehetoric and won elections in Tamil Nadu in 1967, but they called of the demand for seperation fearing Indian Army action against them. They had holded power in Tamil Nadu ever since.

The other faction which were against the Congress Party of Nehru at that that time where the Gandhian Socialists like Rammanohar Lohia and Jayaprakash Narayan who also demanded caste reservations for the OBC castes. The Gandhian socialist were however against industrialization, urbanization and capitalism who believed majority of Indian population should rather live in village republics. Thus, they recieved less support from people. Nevertheless, after the death of Nehru, his daughter Indira Gandhi took over the Congress Party, Gandhian Socialists opposed her reign vehemently and at a time was almost able to come to power at the national level in the late 1970s (there party was called Janta Party translation-People's Party, however they were swept away, by her Congress Party.

Indira Gandhi was a charismatic leader, however her voter base mostly comprised of Dalits,Tribals, Upper caste rather than the vast majority of OBC castes. After her death in 1984, the Congress Party now came under her son Rajiv Gandhi. By the 1980s, India's growth rate had stagnated under some bad socialist and protectionist policies thus, he shifted India more towards Capitalism with welfare policies. However, he was also against giving the OBC castes any reservations in education or jobs. Finally a person from his own Congress Party whose name was V.P. Singh decided to betray him and create his own political party called Janta Dal Party (translation-People's Council Party).

The Janta Dal decided to bring back the "Ambedkarite" politics of the 1930s by appeasing to various castes for there votes. Not that they cared about a damn about providing jobs for everyone irrespective of caste.

The Janta Dal came to power in 1989, and had decided to givegovernment job reservations to OBCs, which expanded government job reservations to about 49 percent of the total jobs provided by government. This led to massive riots inside the country in the early 1990s and many people burned themselves alive.

The Janta Dal government couldn't survive for long and in 1991, the Congress Party came back to power. However, Rajiv Gandhi, had by then died at that time due to an assassination and his Italian wife Sonia Gandhi came to control Congress party.

Sonia Gandhi decided to appease to OBC castes by not removing the reservations, however the Supreme Court of India mandated in 1992 that there be 50% reservation ceiling which can't simply be bypassed by any government or else it would reduce meritocracy and efficiency of government departments and have to struck down by Supreme Court of India.

However, 1990s saw the rise of Ambedkarite politics, as the Janta Dal got splintered into various small political parties with each party trying to capture votes from a specific caste, for example the Samajwadi Party ( translation Socialist Party) of Akhilesh Yadav which ruled over the state of Uttar Pradesh for many years after the decline of Congress Party in 1990s, generally catered to the Yadav Caste.

In the 1990s, there was also the rise of Hindu nationalism. When India became independent fromthe British Empire in the 1940s, they wanted India to become a Hindu Theocracy, the Hindu Nationalism or the Hindutva ideology was given by intellectual thinker V.D.Savarkar in his book "Essentials of Hindutva" in 1923 while he was put under house arrest by British authorties in British India.

The 1990s, saw the decline of the Congress Party (Sonia Gandhi was not that much liked by people, mostly because she was Italian and did not belong from India hence often she used to establish puppet prime ministers) and their Socialist and Secular Ideology as the nation was marked by a new wave of Hindu nationalism. The nation was torn between Ambedkarite politics or Hindu nationalist politics. Hindu nationalists believed in the concept of Hindu unity, thus they believed in uniting all the Hindu castes, with many of them even opposing caste reservations, however in 1998, when the Hindu nationalist government finally came to power under the political party Bharatiya Janta Party (Indian People's Party) in short called the BJP, it's leading figure Atal Bihari Vajpayee came out as very moderate, he did not oppose caste reservations, infact Vajpayee, came out as so moderate that he even felt that private companies should have reservations (What, seriously?). No matter, he lost the election in 2004, due to his moderate version of Hindu nationalist politics.

In the 2000s after 2004, the Congress Party ran a coalition government of various political parties who did Ambedkarite caste politics. No matter in 2006, under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi, when the Congress Party tried to bring OBC reservation in educational universities which again led to major-anti reservation riots in various parts of the country especially by the "Upper Castes".

The Congress Party was also unable to look into militant attacks conducted by Islamic fundamentalist groups which led again to a massive surge of Hindu Nationalism.

In 2014, the Hindu Nationalist government of BJP party led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took over the country. Initially, there were fears that the BJP government would remove caste reservation but Narendra Modi assured that reservations would not be removed because of course various OBC castes like Gujjar and Yadav also support Hindu nationalism. The BJP then soon took over various states in India and finally India entered another period of era of one party dominance after the decline of Congress Party in 1990s.

Ofcourse the Congress Party after 2014, was led by an idiot called Rahul Gandhi, who was the son of Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi who started making stupid speeches that he would increase caste reservations in jobs to more than 50 % ceiling imposed by Supreme Court of India, let meritocracy go to garbage bin and of course many people did not buy into his speeches and he lost again and again and that was folks the absolute decline of the Congress Party.

CHAPTER 3 : HOW WOMEN OF INDIA ARE AFFECTED BY CASTE -

The Caste System of India as you can see the is very complex, the BJP government of India tries to favour some castes by giving them some job resevations so that they can uplift themselves. However, critics of caste reservations call it a form of identity politics which futher deepens casteism in India. This casteism has also divided the women of India, women are more likely to identify with there specific caste groups rather than the female society as a whole. Coming back to B R Ambedkar- in his 1916 book - Caste in India - he writes that women are often trapped inside endogamous marriages into their specific castes and are unable to marry outside their caste and of course that is still a prevalent issue in our country. Go to some random Indian village in Northern India and talk to a Yadav girl or Rajput girl, two-three bunch of muscle-men who look as muscular as the buffaloes you see on their fields will come to you and say in a rough voice - "Hey, why are you talking to a Yadav or a Rajput girl without our permission!".

That is the problem with our Indian society, our Indian Society is so divided among Caste and Kin, that women themselves hate women of other castes doesn't matter it is a Dalit or a Brahmin women. Hence, I believe that regarding the Ideology of Gynarchism in India, we should be intersectional but not beyond a limit where Ambedkarite Caste ideology has infiltrated Gynarchism, because any political party who has tried to do caste politics in India, be it the Communist Paarty of India or the Indian National Congress towards it's end has only seen short term gains and long term decline because if you start supporting one caste, the other caste would then attack you, and castes themselves are divided into sub-caste hence it becomes more complex, hence caste politics are not sustainable in long term and should not be allowed to infiltrate Gynarchism in India.

Caste,Religion and Ethnicity, these are all creation of the Indian male brain, and that's why I believe that the majority of men in my country India behave like absolute idiots, they try to fight with each other with sticks and stones in the name of religion, caste and ethinicity while the infrastucture is crumbling and climate change is destroying our water reservoirs, men in our country don't even have gender nuetral rape laws, protection against domestic violence, laws of protection against false accusations but of course that they are not concerned about that. Now what can I say ?, that's why I stopped believing in men's rights activism, because men themselves are not concerned about there well being and have to rely on women like Deepika Narayan Bharadwaj to fight for them despite in power everywhere.

In conclusion, this was a brief explanation of political situation in India and how it is affecting women in our country. If you disagree with some of the points above feel free to comment below.

We need more Indian women in this Subreddit.

Hi, I am a 22 year old political science student(who is a male) who has graduated from one of the colleges of Delhi University,I have my studies on various political thinkers and ideologies including feminism which led me to the ideology. I actually got suprised that such a subreddit especially for India exists, however I am dismayed that only right now there are only around 9 followers here.

I think you can invite more Indian women from other subreddits like r/IndianWomen, where some amount of men are allowed. (However, before posting about this link, inquire about the rules and engagement of that specific subreddit like in r/TwoXIndia_Over25 , where men are not allowed. Also note don't post about Gynarchy in any Indian Feminist subreddits orelse you might get lot of backlash. I am not sure whether any Indian women are here, if you are here than you can post it in your specific subreddits mentioned above.

As for me I am not that optimistic about indian women in social media as I consider there outlook to be very close minded (either they are focused on just hating men or they are very patriarchial), but i think we can atleast try to bring to the idea of gynarchy.

Today only I found this group , and I am really happy. Time to tell how much frustration I feel when people falsely accuse others of sexual assault.I understand that sexual assault is a disgusting act but false accusation of sexual assault ?, is that really justified?. How can anyone justify false accusation of sexual assault just because false accusations are less than the actual crime. ?. This is beyond dumb. Why aren't there any strict laws and provisions against such conducts?. I find false accusers seriously disgusting !!. They deserve double the punishment of the crime they accuse you of (even though I don't mean it literally) because they burn tax payer money, destroy court's time, send innocent people to jail, destroy public trust in institutions, destroy comfortable life of others. Every now and then you hear news of false accusations, these people have made a joke of the public institutions !!.

And then they don't seriously have any laws on such offenders?. Such people are so vile that they not only in the process want to destroy themselves by wasting there money on court cases but they end up destroying others as well (whom they have accused of). I consider such people as the most disgusting as they try to present themselves as the victims while they are the actual villians. But the issue is not only with them. It's with the people who don't seem to use their brain, and say oh let's believe all "victims" rather than trying to be nuetral as if they have got personal relationship with the "victim". Can't such people simply shut their mouths and mind their own business ?. Ofcourse people who have been wronged should have the right to protest against the offender but why does every Tom,Dick and Harry wants to give his or her own opinion over an accusation without even knowing the minute details of the case on social media or real life. This mob mentality is the exact reason why false accusors seem to get away.

And anybody here still believes that false accusation is justified. I don't give a damn about their opinion. You can downvote me as much as you like.

Thank you !.

I am a brown person, living in a third-world country but I have studied about USA in general in detail, especially about it's culture, geographyand history when I was in school in higher classes as a humanities student. I know the Appalachian mountain trail from it's eastern side towards the Great plains region of Kansas and Nebraska towards the Rocky Mountain terrain. I know about the subtropical alligator infested marshlands of south-east USA towards the Navajo desert of south west USA. I know about how Protestant Christianity is the dominant religion with Evangelical sub sect being prominant in the deep sub-tropial marshland area. It's an advance civilization now possesing AI and other Deep tech.

Yet despite being an advance civilization, the mindest of the people don't look advanced. Now this is more of an opinion piece and generalization and you are free to disagree. American men on social media I have seen seem to be one of the most arrogant people I have seen and it's not white men or black men or hispanic men. It's about all American men. I know men from India can also be creepy but that's a different discussion. They act like "Mr KnowEverything" yet they might not be able to locate my country on map. Some of there comments regarding their ignorance-

"Bro I'll do STEM degree ( as if you have the necessary intelligence in first place), Liberal Arts is for unemployed Feminist bit**hes.(as if a STEM degree somehow lands you a magical job, despite market fluctuations all over the world). You are doing a degree just to show yourself superior not to even get a job actually."

"Bro I listen to Ben-Shapiro, Communism bad, Social Democracy bad, Neo-liberal capitalism good, even if I die of hunger I'll defend neo-liberal capitalism"

"Bro people from South Asia, are short, ugly and stinky. They live in dirt all day and night" ( My height is 173 cm, not that short, ugliniess depends upon your perception, and I wash myself twice a day).

"Bro, be masculine, treat a women like sh**t, women are naturally submissive, she will love you back." ( No man, this is not how it works).

"Bro, I listen to Nick Fuentes, traditional christian marriage is need of the hour, it will make me happy" (So you want to be trapped in a marriage with a person you might not even like?)."

"Bro I listen to manosphere podcasters like Jordan Peterson,Andrew Tate and what not rather then actually interacting with women in real life."(Maybe you need to touch some grass).

"Bro people of this generation are just lazy, they don't work hard" (While you work hard for corporations to exploit you and your government uses your taxpayer money to use CIA to infiltrate our countries or bombard us with your weapons and then you camplain why we immigrate to your country).

Anyway this is my social media perception of Americans, offline I have talked with Dutch or British men but not an American. Maybe offline American men are good, but I can't say for sure looking at the politics of that country. I feel sad, that me being a brown person I might never this great nation in real life, due to the rise of white supremacy. But at the end who I am I judge people of other nation. My own nation has got lot of issues. American men are blessed that that they live in a land of plentiful with clean drinking water and better roads and don't face constant political instability, everyday and fight competition over resources. Yet, they chose to make it a more unlivable place with neo-liberal capitalism, high mortgage, high debt, and homelessness. Sigh !.
