I’ve noticed that this guy always has to be around me whether it’s standing behind me or sitting next to me. Is there a reason…like he feels comfortable with me or possibly interested? He does it constantly.

It genuinely makes me feel like an idiot to put all this energy and excitement into believing someone likes me and then being totally wrong about the whole situation. Finding out the person you were interested in was actually pursuing someone else and not you makes you really question yourself. It makes you wonder if you misinterpreted their flirty and attentive actions.
