According to the reportee, he was approached by individuals identified as "Ricky," "Janneth," and MANUEL "MANNY" B. GARCIA, who gained his trust by expressing interest in purchasing his house and lot and introducing themselves as traders. Thereafter, Manny convinced the reportee to facilitate the purchase of a product called "Micro Brachium, allegedly valued at PHP 24,000.00 per box, with a promised finder's fee. On June 23, 2026, the reportee paid a total of PHP 600,000.00, consisting of PHP 350.000.00 in cash and PHP 250,000.00 deposited to an RCBC account under the name of JOSEPHINE E YGLESIAS, in connection with the transaction. However, after the payment was made. Manny and his associates became unreachable. Upon inspection, the alleged products were discovered to contain only rock salt Believing that he was defrauded, the reportee immediately reported the matter to this Station and requested verification of the Chevrolet Trailblazer bearing Plate No. ABR 5416, allegedly used by the suspects. Recorded for future references
