can i sue for emotional damage from a UC

all jokes. but seriously. last week, i had posted about my credit points, and how i was 6 points short off 120. i stressed the entire week, leading up to results day, getting little to no sleep, and waking up in the middle of the night with sweaty palms. when i got my results two days ago, i saw i had failed my elective, which i knew i had passed with flying colours. i immediately contacted the student office and uc, and got it fixed from a fail to a distinction.

i'm aware that ucs are humans and can make mistakes, but the amount of grading errors this year is ridiculous. do these marks not go through multiple people before they get finalised? i stressed out so much for nothing..

needing a repair for the second time. not even 7 months of having this phone

hi everyone. i purchased this phone in november, and half of my screen started blacking out in february. luckily, i got it fixed for free under warranty. (i think they changed the screen? not too sure.) however, yesterday i was in the car, and my phone was on my lap. when i grab it to open it, i see a singular pink line on the right side. this is just ridiculous at this point. what can i do?

only getting 1 3hr shift per week (long rant)

hello! so, im looking for some advice regarding my poor rostering hours. i want to get advice here before taking it up with management. so i got hired last year as a casual when i was 19, and my work hours were really great, 3 x 8hr shifts a week. however, in november, a family commitment came up and i had to take time off work. my hours got reduced significantly to 1 shift a week. then it got reduced to 1 3 hour shift a week. honestly, im getting really frustrated because i am available to pick up people's shifts, so whenever the managers ask if someone can work tonight, im always quick to respond. however, i never get a reply back.

in addition, earlier this week, this lovely coworker asked me to take her weekend shifts. i did the store's protocol, and much to my annoyance, the manager said to send him a message regarding this. so i did, and i get no response. few days later, i ring up the store and the restaurant manager (our current boss is on leave) picks up, and tells me she'll send me a message later. that message never arrived. i even gave her a follow up message, and she straight up ignored me. it's really demotivating, because i would have just appreciated a curt no instead of being ghosted. ik i shouldnt be asking for much if im older, and they'll probably lean more towards minors as cheap labour, but is it even worth asking the rostering manager to give me more shifts? or is this their way of telling me to get lost? i guess im stuck here til i find another job.

TLDR; management abruptly cut my hours, and ignores my requests to take on additional shifts.
