I was listening to July 4, 1989 Buffalo, New York and I couldn’t believe how great his backup vocals were on “When I paint my masterpiece”. Sometimes he outshined Bobby.

I’m trying to think of some other songs that Jerry had a major part of backup vocals, i.e. Promised Land.

It wasn’t until this morning when I was watching the news that I figured out the likely cause of this accident. If you watch the broadcast, you will see the gentleman on the corner in a yellow safety suit blowing his whistle and trying to encourage others to honk if they love, Jesus. Dollars to donuts this person was distracted when they heard the whistle and other people responding. No one is going to look into this any further, but I guarantee you this was the cause.
