I Know It’s Not Cannon But…

What are your thoughts on Slade and the second Red X being Robin from different points in the future?
Maybe Nightwing needed something from the past and travelled back in time dressed as Red X so he wouldn’t be spotted, returning back to his original time right after, which is why we never get an explanation. And maybe sometime after that, old man Robin travelled even further back and became his own archnemesis. Maybe to train him to become better, maybe he went crazy after being thrown in the Lazarus Pit or something. Or like a Reverse Flash situation where he got trapped in the past and made it his purpose to torment and kill Robin I dunno.
I’d love to hear your opinions on this. Since it’s never confirmed in show, this might remain my headcannon lol.

Who Here is Still Consistently Watching The Simpsons?

It’s been clear for a long time that the world has been collectively checked out of The Simpsons for like 20 years.
This has and remains my favourite show for many many years. I feel like I can recite every single word from probably the first 15 seasons with ease.
But The Simpsons has lost all of its charm, and it has been gone for the vast majority of the show’s run. There’s nearly 40 seasons, and yet, if they had the same life that they used to, I would be binging every second. Yet, getting through an episode, which used to be an addiction, is now straight up a chore. I would rather claw my eyes out and I don’t know why they keep making more.
Very nearly all of these posts are based solely on nostalgia. And I get that it’s not news at all that the show has fallen off a cliff hard and continues to roll further down into the chasms, but I need to know if there are people who actually are enjoying it to the same level that they always have.

Never Connected That Her Lasso Was Never Magic Until Right Here

Even though they straight up say that it wasn’t magic before, I never got that until I recently rewatched this episode.
All the years I’ve been complaining that they had to use the Martian to read people’s minds when they had the lasso of truth right there. Well look who is the fool now.

Was Robin Killing This Guy The Original Plan?

In the Tokyo movie, Commander Daizo sends Saico-Tek to stop Robin from looking deeper, which ends with Robin (seemingly but not actually) killing Saico-Tek and being arrested, which halts his investigation.
Do you think framing Robin for murder was what the Commander initially wanted, or do you think that’s what he had to spin it into because he underestimated Robin’s ability?

Please Tell Me It Gets Better

The show’s never gotten to the point of being unwatchable, yet, but there’s been such a sharp departure from what the first few seasons were all about, probably been that way since around season 8.
It doesn’t even look the same, it’s so streamlined. All the spirit and life has been stripped from it. Not nearly as interesting anymore, is it worth it to keep watching?

I Can’t Believe John Forgave Shayera For This

I understand they were together for years, and this is certainly not the worst thing she ever did, but it was a complete violation of trust. And unnecessary. Talak was right there, so she could’ve just knocked John out without the betrayal.
Not saying she doesn’t deserve redemption, I believe she does, but this is straight up villainy lol.
