Collective Artist Playlist - Apple Music - Drop Your Track Links

I’m putting together a collective artist playlist  for Apple Music where we can discover new music and support one another in a genuine way.

To join:

  1. Save/favorite the playlist
  2. Comment up to 3 songs you’d like me to add
  3. Listen to the playlist from time to time so we can help support each other’s music and find new artists we actually enjoy

The goal is to build a playlist full of talented independent artists while creating a small community of mutual support, not just a drop-your-link-and-leave thread! Thanks!

Playlist curator looking for folk/country/acoustic/singer-songwriter tracks for my road trip playlist

Hey everyone! I’m curating a Spotify playlist called Americana Road Trip Vibes and I’m looking for songs that fit a folk, country, acoustic, Americana, indie-folk, or singer-songwriter feel.

I’m especially looking for tracks that feel like:

  • road trip music, acoustic storytelling, modern Americana, folk-country, warm, emotional singer-songwriter songs, indie acoustic / rootsy pop, etc.

Playlist link:

If you want me to add your song, just save the playlist and comment your Spotify link below.

Thanks! Excited to hear what everyone is making.

I love bluegrass, but I tend to lean more toward Americana and folk usually, so I thought I’d share this song of mine where I just really love the hearty, gritty banjo rhythm to see what y’all think!

I’m an independent artist and my recent album is starting to gain traction through Spotify’s algorithm. While it was always my dream to be a singer, I’d rather my songs be heard, even if that means licensing them to other artists. How do I get my foot in the door with publishers?

My Key stats:

  • 33.1% save rate on my top song (21% save rate across all songs)
  • 30 → 750 listeners in a month (~2400% growth)
  • 5.8K streams first month
  • 1.7K saves
  • 256 playlist adds
  • 7.8 streams per listener

From what I understand, these are strong signals, but I have no idea how to actually get my songs in front of publishers / people who can pitch them. I do not have connections and I don’t know how to find someone who’d pitch it. Are these numbers “pitchable” yet? How do you find someone willing to pitch your work?
