I love bluegrass, but I tend to lean more toward Americana and folk usually, so I thought I’d share this song of mine where I just really love the hearty, gritty banjo rhythm to see what y’all think!
I’m an independent artist and my recent album is starting to gain traction through Spotify’s algorithm. While it was always my dream to be a singer, I’d rather my songs be heard, even if that means licensing them to other artists. How do I get my foot in the door with publishers?
My Key stats:
From what I understand, these are strong signals, but I have no idea how to actually get my songs in front of publishers / people who can pitch them. I do not have connections and I don’t know how to find someone who’d pitch it. Are these numbers “pitchable” yet? How do you find someone willing to pitch your work?
