I do all kinda of fishing, creek, rivers, ponds, and lakes. I have an okuma celilo in 6ft and 6"6. I prefer my 6ft so I wish that they made it in a 6ft byt because they dont what would be the next best option. Ill also be paring it with a shimano sienna 1000 and going after panfish and small bass
Is this normal? If not what can I do to fix it, ive only had the rod for about 20 days or so so I can return it thru Amazon easily and get a replacement.

Was doing a handle swap on this micro series and found out the suspiciously soft "cork" is just what seems to be painted eva foam
Ive tried just about every lure and retrieve and line and time and nothing seems to bite. Ive gone to 4 diffrent decent looking ponds and lakes but nothing has bitten

Its a okuma celilo 2 peice ultra light moderate action rod with a daiwa crossfire lt 1000. I ordered the shimano seina and will be comparing the 2 and returning whichever one I dont pick. Ill keep yall updated on which one I choose but in the meantime what's your opinion on the reel choices ive mentioned?
I have a qauntum extra light 6'6 but want a new ultra light setup so is the okuma celilo a good budget rod to pair with the diawa mentioned?
