So what document do they need?

I filled my taxes back in May, but received a letter this week stating that I have not "supported" the income I reported on line 10 of Form 1040. I reported the income listed on the sheet given to me by my employer (and included a copy of the document).

I can assume some of the problem might come from the fact that this is a foreign company and I work in a foreign country, paid in a foreign currency. However, I converted the payment into USD using the official exchange rate set by the central bank of the country I live in on the date the document was issued, using that as my taxable income, and explained all of this in a cover letter.

Since that was not enough, what "support" (documentation) do I need to send them then? I do not have any other sources of income, this job is my only means of income.

Thank you.

Also I concurrently filed a for Foreign Tax Credit (Form 1116), but because of the relative value of my country of residency's currency I still owed taxes, so that's sort of a bummer.

Advice on cashing out.

Like many of you, I bought into crypto early and held on through thick and thin (a little too long, at least looking at it right now), a good chunk of my crypto is on Coinbase. That said life has shifted and now I need cash for a big investment. For my particular situation, I would need to convert my coins into cash and then send them to my bank.

From some of the posts on this subreddit, it sounds like withdrawing or cashing out of Coinbase is a nightmare. So what can I do to not get stuck or trip some unwritten rule about withdrawing? For example if I withdraw X amount in a single day will that trigger a block on the account?

Fees are not a major concern for me, so I'm not trying to get around paying fees, but I would like a smooth cash out process.

Thank you for your advice.

Any luck re-selling ties?

Over the years I have accumulated a large cache of ties which I was forced to by as part of getting a tie I desired (i.e. 6 used ties, I only want 1, but the seller insists I must buy all of them, price is reasonable, so, okay).

I'd say half of them probably aren't worth trying to resell, but there are some nice ties in the lot (no stains, pleasing design, name brand et et). So I wanted to ask if anyone has had any success selling ties secondhand? Just seems like a market without many buyers....Nevertheless, if you did, how did you do it? Where did you do it (platform)? How did you gauge your prices? How did you promote?

Appreciate any thoughts,
