Hey all, so I got my wrist band to go to a festival recently, this is my first time going to anything like this. So I decide to try the wrist band on and learn that apparently festivals use a lock to make sure you don't scam them. So now I can't get it off. Is there anyway to get it off without breaking it, I really don't want to have to pay for a replacement. Y'all can call me an idiot or whatever in the comments idc I just need help.

I got a dm on Instagram today from someone who said that they were an artist and that they wanted to use one of my pictures for reference. I immediately wanted in because I think it's cool that people would want to use me for artwork but after having a short conversation with the person I'm skeptical. They asked normal questions at first but then they started asking other questions, like my name, the bank I could use, and my number. I didn't give them my number but they seemed really insistent on using SMS for contact between me and her "client" (someone who commissioned her ig). The sum that they were offering was weird too, $300 just for being a reference? Either her client is a really really rich woman or that price is meant to put dollar signs in eyes and make me stop thinking. I tried refusing the money but she insisted on it. Is this a scam?
