My first advantage play trip
Hey, I went to a couple of Oklahoma casinos (ante-free promotion day), and gosh, it was intense!!!!
There were only a few players at my table. About 60% of the session was with 2–3 other players, while the remaining 40% was heads-up. In total, I played about ~ 6.5-7 hours split between the two casinos (est. EV $22.5)
A few calls were made that caused me to deviate from my bet spread. I literally started making random bets at high counts 😭; I literally put only $50 instead of $75 at a true 11 (my bet spread being $5-$75), and I intentionally played a few hands incorrectly (eg: no insurance on true 5 and blamed it on the pit boss for losing cuz I asked them if I should take insurance and they said no) because the pit bosses at both casinos were standing right next to the dealer watching my game closely.
I even had to act like one of the degen slots players to sell the act, all at a $5 min-$200 max table where my biggest bet never exceeded $75.
The pit bosses literally asked me why I wasn't
making those $50 bets anymore after they got off the phone (maybe with surveillance?).
I could definitely feel the heat, while the players next to me betting table max were just chilling (they were regulars and the casino staff knew em).
PS: there was only 1 BJ table that was open.
I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions y'all might have for me.
