Vintage 1950s,1960s sweeper

Went to what we thought was a yard sale. Clearly too late at 2:20pm. We think it was an indoor estate auction as they had stuff set aside with lot # of bought items that were def all vintage and everything else was gone but a FREE pile. Snagged this baby up. I haven't seen one of these since i was a kid (im 45) Looked it up and said it was a 1950-1960s item. Used it on my black throw rug (bane of my exsistance w my Sheppard lab mix). I was so impressed with the job it did, and also was able to get up cat litter that my electric vacuum barely sucks up..Hubby was like wow, that's a good find! So figured I'd share w others who love vintage items.

Reputable etsy seller for Var Peace Lilly?

I'm in search of a varieted Peace Lilly and I was wondering if anyone knew of any reputable etsy sellers that sell them. May be a long shot, but I'd figured I'd try. I read the rules and didn't see anything about iso for a seller so hopefully this doesn't violate a rule.. TY

Still no idea what begonia this is

I've had it a year now. It used to stand up but then one day flopped (was way smaller then) and i thought it was going to die. its grow drastically ever since and even gets pink flowers. Bought it at a local greenhouse last summer. I had a cropped image but for some reason reddit never finds it in my camera. Still can find it on an image search. Def has angel wing leaves

Beef Stewganoff

My friends recipe w a little tweak (beef bullion cubes at end) I added these because it just didnt have that beefy taste to the broth but these fixed that..I call it Stewganoff because my husband says it taste like stew and stroganoff..alas Stewganoff was born

2-3lbs chuck roast or any beef roast will do

1/2 a small bag of pre-shredded carrots

3 stalks celery chopped fine (I tossed mine in a food processor)

1.5 onions chopped fine (same w this one and food processor)

2 packs of McCormick beef stew seasoning

Beef bullion cubes or base

For later when our beef gravy is done

1/2 stick butter (optional)

Garlic powder (optional)

3-4 packets of brown gravy

1 or 2 bags of egg noodles

Put seasoning, veggies and roast in a crock pot w 6 inches of water. You will get ALOT of servings. You can even freeze the rest for later. Cook on high until beef is fork tender and falling apart (About 5hrs).

When roast is soft and falling apart strain and set aside the broth. Once you shred the roast, add it back into the broth. At this time I also crushed some beef bullion cubes and added it to my broth. I used about 12 cubes and added a few at time to get desired taste before adding more

Once the beef was soft I did transfer the juice and beef roast to a pot on the stove to thicken it up with the gravy packets, but im sure the crockpot still on high will be fine

Mix 2 packs brown in 2 cups of cold water and add mix your gravy packets and cook gravy until it is thickened. If not thick enough add another gravy packet at a time until it is. Mine took 3 packets.

Cook 1 or 2 packages of extra wide egg noodles (One bag makes 3.5 bowls like in image) I ended up making another bag for the leftover beef gravy we had.

Melt 1/2 stick butter w some garlic powder. and mix into your egg noodles (optional) or just keep noodles plain

Scoop some egg noodles on a plate (or bowl) and scoop somw beef gravy mix over top.
