Bought this dressing table/bureau today

I bought this dressing table today for $150 on Marketplace. I originally just planned on looking at it but then the seller was so charming and the piece was so charming I just couldn’t help it.

I’ve asked Google for a bit of info about it and if there’s any accuracy there then it’s from the American Empire period. I don’t really have any questions, I just wanted to share it with people who might find it interesting. Basically I want to talk about it haha.

Would anyone want some free figs?

I have 17lbs picked fresh today and at least 3 dozen pounds already in the freezer. You don’t have to pay me for them, just send me a message! Would love for them to get used and not go to waste. Even the birds and squirrels are struggling to help us keep up with this year’s production!

ETA: I’ll reach out to people in the order they contacted me. Today’s pick is spoken for but I’ll likely have some tomorrow and Sunday. Figs spoil quickly so if you want a fresh batch, you’ll need to be able to come by the day of. Thank you to everyone who has come by so far. It has been nice meeting more people in the community!

Any young people looking to make $50 today to move a couple of dressers upstairs?

I need a very strong person to help move a dresser upstairs today. One of the dressers is 300 lbs. Ideally you have a friend and I’ll pay $100 total and I don’t have to carry the other half. Any time today or tomorrow works! I’m in Myrtle Grove. $50 for 15 minutes of work.

Need help picking paint colors

I need some help with a phased approach to this house. The kitchen is cold, stark white cabinets, forest green counters, tile backsplash that’s outdated, gray walls, and gray tiles that lean green.

The four rooms adjoining the kitchen are warm. 3 have warm, cherry colored wood floors and 1 has brown tile (why?). Eventually I’ll remodel the kitchen entirely because of the condition of the tile and cabinets but that won’t be for another 3-5 years.

I would like to paint all of these rooms but I cannot figure out how to tone down the warmth of the sunroom while lifting that awful kitchen. I’m open to thoughts on the backsplash, wall colors, decor, etc. I’m basically open to anything that might help. I’m not a person who likes yellows, oranges, or reds in my home though. Please help me love this new place!

If it would be helpful to see the floor plan let me know!

How far does your friend live from their neighbors? Do you know anyone who has been caught growing because someone reported it? Does your friend say how far the scent travels in humid weather and with our wind and whether that has been an issue? Any and all stories appreciated.
