Winchester small rifle primers
I was given 1000 Winchester small rifle primers. I’ve heard they are junk but they were free so I took them. Are they really that bad? I plan to use them for 223 training rounds.

FX ranger and tequila sunrise
I was thinking about doing a fx ranger base with tequila sunrise topo lines. Do you guys who do this for a living it would look good or stupid? Trying to do something different on a competition rifle.

Proud Dad moment
My 12 yro daughter has been going to the range with me for a year or so now and has wanted to shoot a PRS match with me but since she can’t safety move with the rifle and build positions I told her it would be a few more years probably. Yesterday she shot a prone/positional match with me and far exceeded my expectations for how she would do. She only shot prone or mod prone and I helped by dialing for her. Her rifle isn’t ready yet so we both shot my dasher. She cleaned 1 stage and got quite a few 8-9 impact stages. 15th overall. So damn proud, especially since she has never even been to a match to watch. Hopefully we can keep working towards positional stuff and she can shoot a normal match in a year or so.

Arbor press question
I just started using an arbor press for my 223 trainer rounds. I generally use a sac seating die on a nexus press and I’ve never had a ring on the bullet like this. Will this matter for accuracy?

6mm dasher MV
Dasher guys, what MV are you running? My last 2 barrels I’ve been around 2820-2850 using CRB barrels. I won a proof barrel at a match. I’ve shot about 300 rounds through it and I’m running 2910. I had loaded about 1000 rounds that were great on the other barrels, with low SDs. I have around 500 that I haven’t shot yet and I’m wondering if it even matters that they are shooting slightly faster? I shot 80 rounds before a match, shot 120 at a match and 100 today training. This barrel is shooting tighter groups than the last 2, the SD is still 6-8 and I don’t see any pressure signs. Should I slow it down or just keep loading the same recipe?

Has anyone else noticed they aren’t in the PRS rankings since it switched to impact? I’ve have an impact account and my name doesn’t even come up when I search it. I’m on the PRS website even though it’s not updated since the data has moved. Maybe they are still in the middle of transferring info?
