Moving in with friends soon
Hi! My boyfriend and I are planning on moving in with two of our mutual friends in about two weeks’ time into a new flat, but there might be one issue. There are three cats coming from two homes. I have my cat Vinnie (2.5 yrs M), friend M has Lychee (6-ish months F), and friend H has Toffee (1.5 yrs F).
Lychee was adopted this week and is living with H because M’s house isn’t very cat-friendly. H’s cat Toffee is incredibly anxious and is already struggling with Lychee moving in but is starting to warm up a little bit.
Vinnie will get territorial with new cats, but I don’t know how he will go in a new home with new cats. He is very chill; he doesn’t attack but will hiss and growl.
Does anyone have any tips on introducing my cat to the others? I’m worried that the process of moving and introducing a second cat will stress out or possibly traumatise Toffee, or that it may cause all three cats to dislike/hate each other.
