Winning & Qutting

Why does anyone rage quit

I've found myself quitting games (via pause menu) because i cannot

- pass the ball where i;m aiming (theres a damn arrow inidicating the driection & the ball goes a different way)

- My players stop for half a second after losing the ball so

- When i'm controlloing a player a different players gives a foul away as the game (i think) has given my input to x2 players so i give a foul away while the player i think i am controlling kicks the ball

- I cannot select centre midfielders when the opponent runs towrads my goal diagnoally from the wing

Because of these factors I've found myself quitting games ,even when WINNING!!!!

I'm venting now because at 3-0 up I can feel my players suddenly not responding , 3-1 . . . . . I know (as do we all) where this story goes , eventually they draw - coonvinced theres a script , the 2-2 bug.

got to 4-1 , by 90minutes guess what . . . . .

Yep 4-4 while i literally cannot control my team , infuriating

Anyone quit even when winning due to the awful mechanics & ultimately a clash between user input , elongated animations & erroneous script!

Atleti 27´ Fichajes (but only 3)

Pissing around & thought of players I'd like to see at the club , absoloutely not all of these , I'd say 3 players to add to what we have would be beneficial

I've only added Morgan Rogers to fill that position , but when ithink about it , it'd be a great signing

realistically I like

Grimaldo or Cucurella (Xabi Alonso likes Grimaldo , knew him at Bayern & many teams after Cucurella)

or if we got Antonio Silva & Mario Gila , Pubil to RB & Hancko on the Left & 1 top CM in

Javi Guerra or Stiller or Enzo Fernandez (but he'll cost 150 million) & then a striker that gets stuck in , basically eveything Sorloth isn't

Carlos Espi (I think he'd be excellent)

I dont watch the italian league so this Castro from Bologna is unknown to me & highlights dont show a players game really & from what i've seen in the highlights I'm unsure to his character , we need a striker with a bit of attitude

Real Shame with Memphis Depay , we need that kind of ego , not m'bappe level but confident regardless of what others think of him but not thinking they bigger than the club

¿lo que piensas?

Guliano becoming Tevez & Micheal Owen

Strange & possibly unpopular opinion but , hear me out

Guliano for me lacks the technique to be playing on the wing , he runs so fast & with so much dedication & effort he becomes iff balance & therefore hia technique is exposed in the final 3rd.

yes he gets assists, occasionally scores but it takes 3-4 attempts before a cross meets the target , its waste & everytime Llorente then goes forward it changes everything , Barcelona when Lookman scored from Llorentes wing play

I feel Cholito should be converted to a goal poaching striker , a number 9 poacher (obviously not the target man) Like owen playing off the last defender

his off the ball movement is on point & his workrate woukd makebhima an abosute nightmare for defenders , like Tevez was , hounding them constantly , alvarez dropping deeper , Baena out on the right , Lookman on the left & alvarez as an attacking midfielder

with Barrios & Gavi ( 🤞🙏🏾😆 ) bossing the CM.

in short , if guillano could really work on finishing & bix play he could be an absolute hero as a striker

Solely Transfers that You feel should happen (in/out)

As a shortlist of players I think we should genuinely have on our radar & then players I feel we should pursue

** = players I feel we go for / Fichaje Absoluto

**Mario Gila - CB - Lazio

**Mika Marmol - CB - Las Palmas (Just found out he's ex-Barcelona) He's stated he has ZERO intention of renewing - FREE / GRATIS

**Jose Carmona - RB & CB - Sevilla - FREE / GRATIS

Antonio Silva - CB - Benfica

**Oscar Mingueza - RB/LB - Celta - FREE / GRATIS (Probably Arsenal)

**Arnau Martinez - RB / RM - Girona (Relegated)

Gavi - CM - Barca (Wishful thinking? Barrios & Gavi hustling midfield = FIRE)

**Angelo Stiller - CM - Stuttgart

Fran Beltran - CM - Girona (Relegated)

Jobe Bellingham - CM - Dortmund (What a scenario that'd be)

Kobbie Mainoo - CM - UTD

**Enzo Fernandez - CM - Chelsea

Carlos Alvarez - RW/LW/SS - Levante (Relegated)

****Carlos Espi - DC - Levante (Relgated) - This is a must for me 6"4 Quick , Composed & Strong - was excellent this season for Levante

Carlos Vicente - RW/DC - Alaves (Birmingham City)

Molina , Giminez , Lenglet , Sorloth & Nico has Gone

Mendoza , Vargas , Morcillo , Boñar all out on loan

Season Review & Season Coming , What's needed for Top Football in 26/27 season for Atleti

weird season , we finished 4th with an awful last game although even a 2-0 down we weren't playing poorly (Lenglet Lenglet Ruggeri errors), lost in CDR , semis of the UCL

in reality , it's not poor at all , CDR should've come , but technically there's plenty to build on , but - OUR FOOTBALL IS ANTi-FOOTBALL & at times , simply put , Ugly Shite. Simeone us the tactical wizard but as we know Cholo is NOT in control of players signed &/or sold .

Everything is done via stats , pass completion , tackles won , progressive plays etc , useful but a player who is average may show legit moments of brilliance that makes someone sign them & tune / hone the skills to create -
Thierry Henry , Drogba (fullback when he started) , Mo salah & de Bruyne at Chelsea , Modric , de Gea - all poor initially & told they weren't good enough.

"""General Director of Football Carlos Bucero and Chief Executive Miguel Ángel Gil Marín were primarily responsible for Atlético Madrid's 2025 summer signings.

The window was defined by a major management transition:

  • The Decision Makers: Carlos Bucero led the transfer operations, working in tandem with the long-time club executive Miguel Ángel Gil Marín.
  • The Outcome: The duo oversaw an expansive, €200 million net investment overhaul that brought in major reinforcements like Álex Baena, Johnny Cardoso, Thiago Almada, Giacomo Raspadori, Matteo Ruggeri, Dávid Hancko, and Marc Pubill.
  • The Aftermath: Because many of these expensive summer arrivals failed to meet immediate expectations, the front office underwent another shakeup shortly after the window closed. In October 2025, Atlético Madrid officially appointed Mateu Alemany

Arteta & Pep guardiola are an example of total control , 1st & 2nd in the Premier league.

Cholo has sway but not alot of control. it makes soooo much sense as to why the summer signings seemed to be someone playing fifa rather than football manager.

This season I feel we would benefit from the following.

LB - Alejandro Balde is available & Grimaldo would be perfect , hes 31 & la liga would have at least 3 seasons remaining for him in top form

RB - Oscar Mingueza (free , but Celta have a great project) Jose Carmona (free , but Sevilla avoided the drop) also allow Llorente to play in midfield

CB - Mario Gila (lazio) to build with Pubil , RLN as backup (he's hot & cold & scared of the ball (which is wild for a defender)

CM - Angelo Stiller , Leon Goretzka (bit to old but a free transfer) , Sandro Tonali (too good to be playing out of Europe) , Carlos Baleba , Elliot Anderson - A TOP CM is absolutely needed (box-to-box or anchor/organiser)

if we provide world class signings in each of these positions especially CM & Fullbacks i feel we're good

Obviously this is all pre world Cup , so many many players to be seen yet

also , Ruggeri , Giminez (alot of respect for his service) , Sorloth (i like him but he's to darn dopey , a clinical striker would've been more comfortable in that ucl semi) , Almada , Oblak (yes the legend) , Molina can all leave & we can replace them with the class warranted for UCL & LaLiga double

what do you guys think is needed
