Built an AI-powered wealth tracker where you can just ask "how much do I need to invest to retire in 30 years?" — feedback welcome

Hey everyone,

I'm the creator of Wealth Tracker, a personal finance tool I built because I got tired of juggling five different apps (and a messy spreadsheet) just to answer basic questions about my own money.

The core idea: you can chat with it like you would with a person. Ask things like:

  • "How much do I need to invest monthly to have $1M by 55?"
  • "Am I on track for FIRE if I keep saving at my current rate?"
  • "What happens to my numbers if I cut $300/month from expenses?"

It answers based on your actual tracked data, not generic advice.

Beyond the chat, it also handles the usual tracking: investments, expenses, income, a full FIRE dashboard, and a managed savings fund option if you'd rather take a more hands-off approach.

It's still early — we just launched and don't have many users yet, so if something feels rough around the edges, that's exactly the kind of feedback I want. If you sign up, log in, and open a support ticket (https://wealth-tracker.net/dashboard/tickets), we're currently offering 60 days free while we're in this early stage.

Genuinely curious what this community thinks — especially what a tool like this is missing that would actually make it useful for your situation.

I built a complete AI net worth tracker — would love brutal feedback (especially UX & usefulness)

Hey everyone,

(starting off saying i can give 30day free use to this tool if you contact me)

I built a small tool called Wealth Tracker.
The idea is simple:
I was tired of using spreadsheets to track net worth, investments, income and expenses, so I built something that tries to make it easier and more visual.
It lets you:
Track net worth over time
See income vs expenses
Track investments in one place
Get basic AI-generated insights about your financial situation
Here’s the link:
https://wealth-tracker.net

Why I’m posting here
I’m not trying to “launch” anything yet — I’m mainly trying to understand:
Is this actually useful or just “another finance dashboard”?
What feels confusing or unnecessary?
What would make you NOT use this?
What’s missing to make this actually valuable day-to-day?

Honest context
Right now I’ve had:
0 signups from initial posting (Product Hunt / X)
very low engagement
So I suspect either:
the value proposition is unclear
or the product solves a problem people don’t actually feel strongly enough

What I’m looking for
Any brutal feedback is welcome:
UX issues
positioning problems
missing features
or even “this is not needed at all”
I’d rather fix it early than build something nobody wants.
Thanks a lot 🙏

If it’s easier, I can also give free access / early user access to anyone interested in testing it properly.

Just turned 18, finished high school, and launched my first Micro-SaaS to track Net Worth/Assets. Looking for technical & GTM feedback!

Hey everyone,

I just turned 18, graduated from high school, and instead of taking a classic summer break before starting university, I decided to build and launch my very first Micro-SaaS: Wealth Tracker (wealth-tracker.net).

I’ve been obsessed with personal finance for a while. I started tracking my savings, stocks, and crypto on Google Sheets, but managing it manually became a clunky, time-consuming mess. On the other hand, legacy finance apps out there always force users into mandatory, invasive bank-syncing, which is a major data-privacy dealbreaker for me.

So, I built a privacy-first asset and net worth tracking dashboard from scratch.

The Product Specs:

  • Core Value: High-end visual analytics for asset allocation, cash flow, and net worth trends.
  • Privacy Angle: NO bank syncing or logins required. Everything runs securely via manual inputs and encrypted storage to protect user data sovereignty.

Why I’m posting here: As a young solo founder shipping his very first production-ready web app, I’m eager to learn from this community. I need your brutal, experienced feedback on a few key areas:

  1. The Product/UX: Does the landing page copy explain the value proposition clearly? Is the privacy-first angle convincing?
  2. Go-To-Market (GTM): For a bootstrap personal finance SaaS where "trust" is the biggest entry barrier, what organic marketing channels would you focus on first?
  3. The Business Model: It’s currently built on a freemium model with a low-cost premium tier.

The platform is live, and I’ve created a permanent 100% off promo code for fellow builders here to explore the premium features and break the app: NEWUSER10

Check it out at:https://wealth-tracker.net

Thank you so much to anyone who takes a look. Every piece of advice from experienced founders here is pure gold to me right now!

I’m 18, tracking my way to $1M, and built a privacy-first web app to ditch clunky spreadsheets. Need your feedback!

Hey everyone,

I’m Ottavio Malatacca a 18 years old, just graduated high school, and like most of you here, my ultimate goal is the race to $1M.

As I started managing my early savings, stocks, and crypto, I quickly realized that tracking everything across multiple accounts using traditional spreadsheets is a massive chore. They break easily, lack automated visual charts, and take too much time to maintain. On the other hand, mainstream apps keep demanding invasive access to bank credentials, which is a huge privacy dealbreaker for me.

So, instead of taking a full summer break before university, I decided to roll up my sleeves and code a dedicated, secure solution from scratch: Wealth Tracker (wealth-tracker.net).

What it does to help the race:

  • Net Worth Milestones: High-end visual dashboards and trend charts to see exactly how close you are to your financial targets.
  • Asset Allocation: Centralize your stocks, crypto, and cash in one clean interface to optimize your portfolio.
  • Privacy-First: NO bank logins required. It will never ask for your sensitive credentials. Your data stays yours.

Since I am freshly launching this as a solo young founder, I drastically need the brutal honesty of this community. I want to make this the ultimate tool for people tracking their net worth progression.

The base version is free, but I've created a promo code for this sub to unlock all premium features for free so you can stress-test it: just use NEWUSER10 during sign-up.

What features are missing that would make you drop your spreadsheet for this? Any feedback on the UI/UX or bugs is highly appreciated!

Check it out here:https://wealth-tracker.net

Thanks to anyone who checks it out and helps a young developer improve!
