Toddler is 3 in October and is noticing she is being left out

We haven't had a chat about it before. When we make pizza, we say vegan ham, vegan cheese and thats as far as it goes.

At a party, she noticed at the end she couldn't leave with a cupcake and the person offering said aww sorry theyre not vegan (she had her own plate for her main meal that had been prepped for her though).

We got home and I gave her a square of chocolate instead.

How do you navigate this? Im really conscious of not encouraging disordered eating as she gets older and its stressing me out a bit.

Thanks in advance :)

Nearly 3 year old and naps.

What to do you when youre toddler needs a nap but if they do, end up going to bed at 9.30? This is with a 45m nap usually.

Im capping naps, a LOT! Today, I gave her 10 mins and she was asleep by 7pm. Some days she just needs more and will take ages waking from a nap. She is at nursery 2 times a week and naps there even though she says she wont ahha. She is 3 in October.

Im going to try quiet time again, this time alone, in her room. I read this in a book, so im open to it but don't want her crying because im sure she will if I leave her. She also sleeps for car journeys which makes it hard since my family live 45 mins away so thats TWO naps in a day 😅

Really not sure what the best solution is. Im really appreciative for any advice!!

Are reclining child seats even worth it ?

My daughter who is 2.5 years old falls asleep every time we are on the bike. Neck fully down and forwards, as in, you couldn't look more down if you tried and slumped. We had to stop today and let her nap on the picnic blanket.

Thinking of getting a reclining seat but do they help the issue since the helmet is always touching the back of the seat? Or do they just turn their heads to the side?

Im at 5 ft 1 so theres not a lot of room in the back and worried if I buy one, my seat will get in the way anyway so I wont be able to recline.

Thanks for any advice :)
