Itsy bitchy spider always takes my money

Why do i have to pay gold for it to add 2 bricks to my deck? Either that or i have to cough up 125 gold for a removal. Why cant i just leave? Atleast with the tea bum I could leave for a penalty but not with the spider.

I think it is easier to parry in early access compared to beta?

I played Alabaster during beta and I would struggle sooo hard to parry enemy attacks, but now in early access it feels way easier to hit parries. Anyone else feel like this? Did they make the window to parry more generous?
