I'm still shocked I almost lost to this. If I didn't have heart of the cards main character syndrome, drawing the perfect answers when I needed them, I would have lost this duel. I needed Droll, Lava Golem, and Belle to win this.

For those curious, I'll post the decklist I the comments, but it SEEMS like their plan was "Omni-negate turbo" as they had multiple ways of reaching Dragoon, Selene to revive it, and Gameciel, who has INFINITE Omni-negates as long as you have enough Kaiju counters.

Obviously Red Nova is the best Earthbound Immortal due to its role in RDA.

But I'm looking into making an Earthbound deck (I'm realizing I love 5Ds villain decks) and I want to know which of the other Earthbound Immortals are best. I only really plan to run 1 or 2, though.

1850 defense is CRAZY starting information!

There are only 18 monsters in MD with 1850 defense.

I saw a couple posts regarding Rollback and Waking the Dragon, and now I'm curious. Can you use Rollback's gy effect to activate Waking the Dragon, or does Waking the Dragon HAVE to be destroyed for its effect to be activatable?

I'm still not playing Blue-Eyes.

This is just a solid card, not even just for water decks. Normally I don't care for the cards you get from the Dice Rally, as they only have niche, if any uses. But I'm actually really happy with this one.

Konami, what the Hell?!

I'm not actually mad because I have plenty of other decks, and I'm actually going to start the event with an experimental Timelord build. But it's hilarious that these two cards got banned even though the blind-second OTK gets stopped by some of the most common handtraps, like Ash, Belle, and Nib.

Yeah, I thought this game was over the second Fountain was banished. Truth be told, I can't even tell you why I stayed in the duel.

In fact, I can't even describe what I'm feeling about this duel right now. The ONLY way I can describe this is The Heart of the Cards, baby! That's what this duel was. Me summoning as much protagonist drawing power as I could.

Obviously there was skill involved as well, but it was mostly luck, and even hours later, I'm sitting here dumbfounded that this even happened. I think this is one of my favorite duels I've ever had.

For me, I have two instances that come to mind.

The first instance was when I was went first against Merlanteans with my Heraldry deck. They broke my board, and by the time their turn was over, they had the Barrier Statue on my endboard. But luckily, my ED was actually prepared for this. I used my Stad Whales to bring out Stealth Kragen, which I don't think they were expecting me to bring out, because they immediately started panicking. Stealth Kragen basically deleted their board by itself, including destroying their Statue.

The second instance was I was playing against a Yubel-FS deck with my Heraldry deck, and they brought out Knightmare Gryphon. I was able to bring out my boss monster and use Flash of Heraldry to get around a lot of their effects. But honestly, they ultimately threw the duel. They were so dedicated to keeping Gryphon alive that they burned to many resources into doing that, and not breaking my board or killing me.

Following the unbanning of Metamorphosis, Master Duel has added it to the Legacy Pack card pool. Sphinx of the Cycle is also here as a new UR.

I really love this art, and once we get the remaining two seasons, we need all four of them as some sort of customization option. The art is too beautiful, especially summer, to not make them something we can use.

Side note: I'm going to be in a coffin by the time they release Winter.

It seems we're getting it somewhat soon, and I absolutely love the art of the art I've seen so far. I'm really thinking of playing this deck when it comes to MD.

All I know is the bare minimum, that it's a pendulum and flip archetype, reminding me so much of empty jar, my beloved. But aside from that, I don't know the actual playstyle of the deck, it's win-cons, what other decks it plays well with (if any at all). So what is the playstyle of this deck?
