Why aren’t most trap negates considered counter traps?

I was just building a Parshath deck and realized cards like the dominus engine and impermanence aren’t counter traps. Why is it that? They aren’t doing anything that different from the Solomon cards. Plus the Hole archetype aren’t counter traps either. So what exactly is a counter trap, and should the “counter” type for traps still exist if Konami never uses it?

What are good ways to get UR CP?

I'm trying to put together a ridiculously expensive deck and am pretty close to finishing it, but I need 7-10 more UR cards.

What are good ways to grind CP? I've already used most of my gems from tutorials, missions etc.

Mathmech Field Guide: 1 card, 5 interruptions on their turn. 9 going-first lines, with the board after every step

Achichi, Pikari or Circular on its own gets you Terahertz and Heatsoul, with Superfactorial and Cynet Conflict set and Desavewurm in the GY. On their turn, Superfactorial summons Laplacian, which sends a random card from their hand, one of their monsters and one of their Spell/Traps to the GY, then has an omni-negate. Cynet Conflict negates and banishes the activated card, Desavewurm negates a Spell/Trap, and Terahertz sends Packbit to move one of their monsters to their backrow.

Hi, I run theendboard. I wanted to make this guide because of how hard this deck is to learn. Full credit goes to lifepointaker for his decklist and combos. I hope you can learn and appreciate the mighty dragon :P

The basic line from a single Achichi:

  1. Normal Summon Achichi, add Pikari. Dark Infant adds A.I.Land
  2. A.I.Land summons Pikari, and A.I. Meet You adds Wizard. Wicckid, then A.I.Land summons Wizard and Wicckid adds Backup
  3. Backup and Wizard make Saber Dragon, then Splash Mage. A.I. Connect summons Micro Coder and adds Circular
  4. Circular adds Superfactorial, Alembertian adds Addition, then Link Decoder, Transcode and Heatsoul (Micro Coder adds Conflict)
  5. Terahertz sends Desavewurm. Set Superfactorial and Conflict

The guide covers every starter (Achichi, Pikari, Circular, Backup, Sigma, Cynet Mining, Small World, and a line for when they Maxx "C"), with the board after every step, what to do on their turn, a comeback if they break your board, going second, hand traps and matchups. There's also a hand tracker: tap the cards you drew and it shows you the line step by step.

K9 rising rebellion falcon combo?

Hi, does anyone know how to summon rising rebellion falcon in k9 with a small raidraptor package with summoning ripper and and raidraptor card and a another negate? Most combos I see just summon ripper and two strix to summon rebellion falcon.

I was playing ladder and went up against this k9 player who did that and was wondering how he did it i dont have a decklist saved but he did have a lot of 5 extenders and a raid package im asking on how to do the combo and optimize it.

Returning player

Im returning to yugioh, maybe, and I was just wondering what everyone's opinions are about the games current state. Is it playable? What problems does the game have right now and whats the best way for a new player or a returning player to jump into yugioh and find it enjoyable?

Ive seen many say its not worth playing anymore, that the decks and sets cant keep up with power creep or something, so I just wanna hear what yall have to say.

IM NOT TALKING ABOUT JUST MASTER DUEL, IM TALKING ABOUT YUGIOH IN GENERAL.

VS9 vs Blue Eyes

Adding Kashtira to my VS9 deck has been my favorite move so far. Absorbing interaction before moving into my K9 or VS lines is so fun
