Wanted to get into the game, but anyone know if its still real players?
Hello! So, I'm quite a new player and I've been running Predaplants. Yadayada, I'm confused on why Flytrap's ability didn't destroy the opposing monster? I don't believe there were any negates. This is also the second time this has happened.
Truly, I'm just wondering why this one thing wasn't popping. Many thanks in advance.
Bold of you to activate a monster while I control a Neos Lord and you control my Neos Lord and a Dandalos. I’ll admit I misplayed, but you basically threw the duel activating Ash. Gave me a chance to take your Dandalos and grab my second Neos Lord back so I appreciate it. 🤣
Hecahands are super dope!!! Can’t wait to get em’
I kinda know YuGiOh, played in the past, have no idea of the current meta and just want a strong, fun and easy to build deck to play with. I'm playing with Springht deck the ingame event gave me and i'm having fun with it, even if i miss so many cards
Idk man I feel
Like over this last month and a half I’ve lost a lot of desire to play this game. Maybe it’s the state of the game or something else but this game isn’t very inspiring to play at the moment at least in my opinion like it needs something new/different or changes or something. Is that normal?
How would you break this board
Enneacraft(worth saving for?), R.B., Hecahands/Kash, Galaxy Photon Tachyon, Ancient Gear, Metalmorph Bystial, Monarch, Cyber Dragon, Hecahands/Generaider. I just started playing and these are the decks that kind of interest me.
Nobody ever expects the Prank-Kids Trap Card to turn the tide. Still, they really had no other plans besides Dragoon?
Does anyone else hate when they are up
against hecca hands cards 😭😭
Any Tips ??
Edit: This the deck I use below let me know if the link doesn’t work.
Im new and am looking for something simple but fun to build and play. I did all the solo stuff and bought some staple packs.
So I’ve been a pioneer my first few weeks of playing master duel. And suffering in plat 4 is where it all went to crap, I started off as a yubel player, then I was yubel/sacred beast, then predaplants. Point is I’ve tried a lot of decks that aren’t tier 0. And all I do is get destroyed by tier 0’s.. after a while I say you know what? Why not join the band wagon right? After staring down boards of “just no’s” you decide you want to be the one saying no. So I invested into the kewl tune engine. And I regret it. First week playing it I barely knew what I was doing with it and I would still win😂. And each win just felt horrible. I don’t understand why people take pleasure in denying your opponent the chance to even play the game. That’s NOT what the game is supposed to be about. It’s supposed to be back and forth… momentum swinging from one side to the next until ultimately someone either top decks the game ender or runs out of gas. I know winning is more fun than losing.. But what if everyone just chilled out? I know for a fact you don’t play these decks because you’re in love with the art, or a fan from the anime.. you play them because they win. And these are assuming you’re running pure decks. I’ve went against decks with so many engines crammed into it that it just can’t brick. And they don’t even have to synergize😂. I ran into someone playing: dark magician, azamina, minkanko, and diabellstar ALL TOGETHER. And I literally couldn’t even play the game. See when I blend a few engines together they speak to eachother at least. My favorite blend is my fiend blend. Which is yubel/unchained/sacred beasts. Sacred and yubel are in the same exact pack and have bridge cards that make running the two together optimal, unchained synergizes simply because they are fiends that destroy themselves just like yubel can. But seeing some of these decks man are just insanse. Everyone just crams the best engines in the game together and prays. Meanwhile duelists like me that spend an hour(s) in the deck editor going over potential hidden gems in my inventory plus cards I don’t even have owned yet just to see my deck makes sense. It’s better when I win this way because I didn’t scroll through twitter to find the new meta.. I didn’t consult content creators to make my deck. I literally built it from the ground up. And although winning isn’t as often.. it just hits different seeing me get the perfect hands and making my meta opponents scoop.
How on earth are you expected to get good at this game? I played as a kid so downloaded a week ago to get back into it. Even on bronze ranking matches, everyone is an expert, 20 card combinations and powerful monsters on their first go. Just get battered in two phases and get no tokens to be able to buy packs
