Masterpiece criteria is your own, no hard rules. And ones you have sampled are fine too if you feel you really have a sense of the scent when you tried it out.

I am very prompt when it comes to selling on Mercari. I try to ship within 1 day if an order, sometimes 2 if it’s over the weekend. However, I notice that I will drop off a package with a shipper and the package status does not update to reflect an entry scan until I go to “check order status”. Then almost immediately, the status will update to show the drop-off scan. It’s not the biggest issue in the world but it is a little annoying and I’m curious to know why I have to check the status before it updates. Any ideas why?
Today I had a seller bomb a potential $250 sale over a fictitious “other buyer”. After sending two offers in 3 days, and being told each time “I have another buyer who will pay more so please increase your offer”, I decided to purchase with someone else. Then minutes after their competitor’s item was marked SOLD, the first seller comes back asking if I can send my first offer again bc they will now accept it bc the other potential buyer “suddenly went silent”. Um, thanks but no thanks. I found someone who can negotiate up front. Of course I never said that.
Just super tacky! I have a couple hundred successful transactions as a seller, so I get wanting to make money, but why sabotage a live offer? Why price fish like that?
Has this happened to any of you, where you have lost a sale this way or been turned off by a seller who fishes for a higher price?
