Tate's lawyers requested from Hertfordshire Police evidence gathered as part of that investigation, to be used in his civil litigation.

She reported that, in conjunction with the Assistant Chief Constable for Crime and Public Protection, she had made a decision that there should be a reinvestigation of the allegations made by claimants AA, BB and CC.

While this reinvestigation was announced back in March, it was not known that it was Andrew Tate himself who had triggered this review, leading to the reopening of a full criminal investigation against him.
