Second brekky of the day

Second brekky of the day

I went to Sephora today and people kept on telling me how amazing my skin was. I noticed it too today when I woke up. I really felt quite happy with my face :) This is day 2/3 sugar free. I know I’ll soon be hit with the cravings and headaches perhaps. But so far, all good. I have taken vitamin d for extra energy.

My Sugar-Free Diary: Day 1

My reason: I consider myself somewhat health conscious. However due to extenuating circumstances, my health has taken a huge back burner in my life for the last year.

Going refined sugar free is a journey I believe will bring back control in my life. It will force me to cook more at home, be appreciative of the food in front of me, reduce aimless snacking, bring back confidence in my appearance and finally fight back fatigue, illness and the constant mood swings.

Day 1ish////

Yesterday I started weening myself off sugar, I did not want to go cold turkey (never works for me) as I find that it puts sugar on a pedestal. I began my day with a leftover half of a cookie, drank tons of water. Then for lunch I had a high protein salad with diverse vegetables. I ensured there was a high volume of food on the plate. (Not a food diary but thought I would share some of my meals).

First interesting result:

The plaque on my tongue has already reduced by 70%. My teeth just felt cleaner and this was by the end of the day.

B12 and acne: Just incase someone is out there!

So random but I remember starting taking supplements in Jan for the first time. The results were close to life changing, I truly became excited to wake up and live. Fast forward a few months of adding different vitamins to my routine, I began breaking out in a way I hadn’t since my teen years. I would even be hit with nausea.

I cleaned my whole diet, drank almost a gallon of water and yet the skin issues were persistent. I for the life of me could not figure it out and accepted my new fate (since everything else was going so well). Until one night at 4am while frantically researching all my supplements potential side effects, I saw a Reddit post about Vitamin B12 causing heavy acne when used unnecessarily.

Long story short I read some studies, stopped taking all my supplements and spoke to a pharmacist I know. A few weeks after, skin…clear as day.

After this incident I really learnt my lesson about supplement maxing without support from a registered doctor. I was cleared to continue everything else and yes no problems since.

Is there any system to support

Hey guys, is there any resource that supports people with filling out there 5 year checks after an offer? It’s quite daunting for me regarding the overlaps of employment, cash in hand summer roles, etc. Just want to ensure it’s perfect.

Question

Hello EDIT: thank you for all your answers,

I was recently offered a position at AO level,

A couple months ago I was working a ‘bull-shit’ hospitality job to make ends meet until hearing back from CS. I got fired before my probation period even ended. Every other job I have held for last 5 years have been okay.

Should I have anxiety about putting this on my checks? My first cs process so want clarity.

Be careful of the friends you make

I don’t know if I’m the only one but even after years of leaving the religion, I still have mostly Muslim gfs. I met them at such a young age that they became a pillar of my life.

Problem with this is I got lazy and only made one new friend outside of this friendship.

Once my Muslim friends started the marriage train it was honestly over. Every time we speak it’s husband this husband that. Asking for his permission, talking about who else is getting married. Children talks. Honestly we are still so young but of course due to the nature of the religion they all got married. But somehow have less freedoms than they did with their parents.

If I could go back in time I would’ve prioritised making non-Muslim friends to ensure that I could have an escape into normalcy. But now I have to start from scratch so that I don’t feel like I am going insane haha.

Even though I have none of the same values as them, it can feel like there’s this subtle pressure that I have to take the next step or I am going to be behind. It’s such a bizarre feeling too because I don’t want this lifestyle. It can really warp your world view.

Anyone else going through this?

Cramps from hello disc

Not had kids and am younger.

I did thorough research before buying and ended up getting hello for its one size fits all and pully tag marketing. Also creator nirvana really sold me.

I have honestly tried everything to make her work but she refuses. It goes in perfectly and does the job well. But it gives me subtle cramps which disappear seconds after removal. This doesn’t feel like an insertion issue.

I will be purchasing a new disc this week. Please may I be advised on this. I otherwise loveeeee the disc in theory.
