I fucking hate Instagram and how it has so much control over people
This app is so toxic!!! I can’t bloody deal with this shit anymore. Funny thing is I’m not even on this stupid app. My wife is. And anytime a random nobody posts something there, she gets a fucking FOMO and all hell breaks loose on me.
My whole fucking day is now ruined because of this shit. We’re peacefully spending our day, busy with work and suddenly she comes at me asking why I have not purchased fifa wc tickets for a game thats happening in my city. I asked her why it suddenly became so important and this drama unfolded into how I’m a selfish fuck who doesn’t care about her and what she wants. All this, after the fact that she hasn’t watched a single minute of football and has 0 interest in the WC.
I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT SHE WANTED TO WATCH A FUCKING GAME THIS BAD!!!
ALL THIS BS STEMMED FROM THE FACT THAT SHE SAW STORIES POSTED ON IG AND SHE NOW HAS FOMO THAT HER FRIENDS ARE WATCHING THE GAME AND SHE IS AT HOME!
I am now desperately trying to get tickets for the next game here. Life is hard. I hate myself.
