Picked up a WireView Pro II for my 5090 (HP OMEN Max 45L prebuilt, OEM card so no per-pin monitoring built in like the Astral has).

Installed and working fine, but I haven't wired the shutdown splitter to the motherboard power switch header. So right now I believe I get the visual warning and the audible alarm, but no automatic cutoff. My readings under full load look healthy (check my post history on this sub).

So I just wanted to ask - is the alarm alone actually enough, or is the auto-shutdown a necessity? My thinking is that if the imbalance is going to develop, it develops gradually and I'd catch it but I'd like to hear from people who've had one actually trigger.

Mostly trying to figure out if I'm being paranoid or appropriately cautious. Thanks!

Me and my partner are planning to attend the Vegas grand prix later this year. I needed opinions on which tickets I should purchase to get the best possible experience. I have never been to a race before and have just resumed watching F1 this year (last I watched was when I was a kid back in 2005).

My goal is to get the most value for what I’m going to spend - how much should I really spend on a race and where the most action can happen. I was really intrigued by the grandstand tickets because it’s a view of the starting line and the pit lane potentially but it costs around 2k per person so I’m not sure if I should drop that much for something that’s not valuable.

Any insights would be helpful!

For example the mons that are egg-locked (corsola, honedge, turtonator)

Would appreciate it since this will be a rare opportunity to get some good IVs

This app is so toxic!!! I can’t bloody deal with this shit anymore. Funny thing is I’m not even on this stupid app. My wife is. And anytime a random nobody posts something there, she gets a fucking FOMO and all hell breaks loose on me.

My whole fucking day is now ruined because of this shit. We’re peacefully spending our day, busy with work and suddenly she comes at me asking why I have not purchased fifa wc tickets for a game thats happening in my city. I asked her why it suddenly became so important and this drama unfolded into how I’m a selfish fuck who doesn’t care about her and what she wants. All this, after the fact that she hasn’t watched a single minute of football and has 0 interest in the WC.

I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT SHE WANTED TO WATCH A FUCKING GAME THIS BAD!!!

ALL THIS BS STEMMED FROM THE FACT THAT SHE SAW STORIES POSTED ON IG AND SHE NOW HAS FOMO THAT HER FRIENDS ARE WATCHING THE GAME AND SHE IS AT HOME!

I am now desperately trying to get tickets for the next game here. Life is hard. I hate myself.
