Scale rot/ not eating
Hi,
So Mango is not eating, its been over a month. She also has some scale rot, which I'm not entirely sure how she got it because I have struggled to keep her humidity above 50. And her last shed she retained eye caps.
I'm stripping her cage and disinfecting it with peroxide.
I have been putting her in a humidity box hoping she gets the eye caps off but to no avail.
Hot side is 90, on a thermostat. Cool side is around 80. I used coco fiber stuff for her bedding. I wanted to transition to a bio active tank but I need to get her fixed up first.
She is my child's snake and the not eating is more of a concern. I have tried regular rats, smaller rats, smaller ASF, mice. she just smells it and goes back to her hide. We feed F/T defrosted in the fridge and warmed in water to 100 degrees.
She is 641 grams. 15 months old.
Right now she is unfortunately on a red heat lamp because the ceramic one I had fried out, sparked and ruined my dome. I was right there so there when it happened and unplugged it right away. I had plans to upgrade her to a Dubia tank this year and life got in the way. So I have to restart my savings.
