LightMeter app - looking for 10 beta tester

LightMeter app - looking for 10 beta tester

Hi everyone,

I am looking for 12 beta testers for my photography/cinema light meter app for Android.

DM me your gmail address if you're interested to try so I can authorize your tester account. Here the link to the app (only accessible once i registered your email address) : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.LightMeterAg

I'd be happy to help other app developpers in return.

LightMeter Ag App features :

  • Incident metering — uses the phone's ambient light sensor with extended capabilities in low light mode
  • Reflected metering — uses the rear camera (Camera2 API) with a live viewfinder and metering overlay
  • Photo / Cinema mode — a single toggle that reconfigures all three wheels at once: in Cinema mode, the shutter wheel shows cinematic speeds (frame-rate based), aperture switches to T-stops, and ISO loads cine stock presets; in Photo mode everything reverts to standard still photography values.
  • Deep preset library — every wheel can be locked to a specific real-world piece of gear: still camera bodies and cine camera frame rates for shutter, photo and cine lens brands/models for aperture, and an extensive film stock list (photo and motion picture stocks across Super 8, 16mm, Super 16 and 35mm formats) for ISO.
  • EV + Lux display — real-time exposure value and lux reading shown prominently
  • Three-wheel picker (ISO / Aperture / Shutter) — scroll wheels with a physical instrument feel
  • AUTO/SET lock system — AUTO ISO/Shutter/Aperture computed by the meter
  • EV lock — freeze the current reading to work with it manually + 3 memory slots
  • ND filter calculator — select an ND filter (up to ND 4.5 / 15 stops); exposure is adjusted automatically
  • Exposure compensation — ±6 stops slider, saved automatically
  • Color filter compensation — accounts for the light reduction of photographic color filters
  • Reciprocity failure calculator — corrects long-exposure times for specific film stocks
  • Depth of Field calculator — uses focal length, aperture, distance, and sensor format; can import AF distance from the camera
  • Focal length & sensor format selector — supports photo and cine formats
  • Daylight Reference (Sunny 16) — table of classic exposure rules from Sunny 16 to Golden Hour
  • Multi-point sensor calibration — non-linear curve calibration, independently adjustable for incident and reflected modes, with export/import of calibration profiles
  • 8-language support — EN, FR, DE, IT, ES, PT, ZH, JA
