My mom’s car was repoed despite us paying the bill because it did not show up on the company’s website we now have until the 23rd to pay to get it out. Getting another car is going to be impossible for us. My mom works from home and I’m starting a job that I can walk to. We’re willing to put together our paychecks in order to payback whoever can help. ANYTHING helps in this emergency. Thank you so much.

Hey this might be a bit odd but I’m a dvd collector and I just got a copy of the 2006 live action of DEATH NOTE. I bought it completely new a couple weeks ago and since then have watched a multitude of special features on the disc perfectly fine.

I just went to go actually watch the movie and about half way through, the screen froze. I couldn’t get back to the menu and was forced to completely take the disc out of my player. I assumed it was a scratch however in an attempt to bypass it, I went to scene selection to get to the scene after the scratch and rewind. When clicking on the next scene, the movie automatically reroutes me back to the scene previous to the “scratch”. It seems as though the entirety of the movie past the half way point is completely corrupted. I took out the disc and cleaned it but it’s perfectly clean with no scratches visible. I also played another movie in my player and that movie was also completely fine all the way through.

At this point, I’m just really curious on how a DVD could get corrupted like this without it being physically damaged?
