I’ve put together a quick breakdown of the 3D scanning, 3D modeling, and 3D printing process for this project! Since I needed to scan the scanner itself, I dipped it in flour to capture the reference data and built the design right on top of it.

This stand features vehicle-style shock-absorbing suspensions to shield the MetroX from workbench vibrations and shocks, while preventing it from tipping over if the cable gets pulled. It’s all about keeping the device as safe as possible during use!

Brought the Flip back to life using ABS, TPU, and a bit of PLA. Tried to capture the quick process. Hope you guys like it :)

I made a custom hardcase to carry my gimbal safely. I used 3D scan data to model a perfect-fit TPU insert, so it doesn't wobble at all. Thanks to ExtRuben for the parametric model inspiration.
