Why do labels take SO long to send a single to radio? I’m confused

slayyyter released her song “Dance…“ in January

they finally sent it radio this August.

but in June it was getting 800,000 streams a day. it was #8 bubbling. if they put it to radio it could’ve made the Hot 100. it was on the radio pop charts but it fell off cause they missed the moment

Currently she has a song Brand New Chanel$ that’s been on the Spotify top 200 for two weeks now

Why didn’t they sent this new song instead? This would’ve been on billboard for multiple weeks by now if that happened.

it also happened to Troye Sivan’s One Of Your Girls. it hit a peak on Hot 100 in October but his label didn’t put it for radio under December well past the moment It fell off

Has having roommates completely changed your view of people? Like irreversibly jaded in a good way?

having roommates has completely changed my view of people

I’ve had a lot of trial and error. to the point I can look at someone and know without doubt if I would roommate with them.

that’s unfortunately the mindset I’ve had to develop to survive. being critical of everything a person

cause people actually reveal who they really are in small ways? And if you don’t trust your gut you’ll suffer

I’ve been on the ”roommate life” for about 3 years now. after have apartments and having an unfortunate situation where I’m forced to find roommates

in a way I love that it’s taught me how you can’t trust everyone.

I feel like we all know America has had rough times. but it’s almost kind of a blur? or people speak about large gaps of time

if you were tasked to pick the 3 worst absolute dates to be in the USA. which dates are you going with?

whatever you feel fits

It has been 2 years since the Trump Assassination Attempt. It seems like positive attitudes towards political violence has only increased since. Why? How does that help encourage people with opposing views than you to want to understand your side?

It seems like political violence in the 2020s is an on going issue. Without an end in sight. If not just political violence. Certain an attitude that political violence is okay is growing

Since that event. There’s been Charlie Kirk, the Minnesota Senator, Lindsey Graham with people celebrating and now anticipating the deaths of other republican senators

It seems like we are at a place where we are celebrating and encouraging the death of our political opponents

What do you think it will take to end political violence? If you are hopefully that Trump is killed.

Edit: I am not saying Lindsey Graham is political violence. I am saying the RESPONSE to him and celebrating his death is certainly in alignment with the on going attitude of wanting your political opponents to die

Since so many liberal Americans are celebrating Lindsey Graham’s death. If you are liberal and you have anyone in your family that voted for Trump. Are you personally going to celebrate when your family member dies?

i’m not rage baiting. genuinely curious. and I am curious to know how liberal Americans are genuinely thinking in 2026

are you going to celebrate when the person in your family that voted for Trump dies?

All of us for the most part have at least one family member that is republican or voted for trump. And likely agrees with many things that Lindsey graham agreed with

are you going to be indifferent or celebratory to their death? If you have a uncle, cousin or anyone that voted Trump

I guess there’s a chance you have no republican family members. but I feel at least many of us do.

i think it’s wild how far political hostility has gotten. I think death is nothing to celebrate

How do liberals Americans uphold their beliefs in mental health and suicide prevention while also celebrating the deaths of politicians they don’t like

i live in a very blue state and the other day I saw a “people care” sign on a bridge

but that is such bullshit.

In this blue state liberals want people to die all the time. We see it today. if the person that was on the bridge voted for Trump you’d likely celebrate them for doing it. You celebrated Kirk and Lindsey today. if the person that commissioned that sign was liberal, which they probably are, they are happy about Lindsey

clearly you’d be want them to do it if they were a republican politician.

I mean and that’s fine. youre welcome to celebrate anything but how do you turn around and coexist with mental health awareness and suicide prevention?

For voluntary non-life threatening pregnancy: How many weeks of pregnancy should abortion still be allowed for? What do you think the cut off week should be?

I’m curious what Americans think since in Europe the laws are actually more strict to about 13-20 weeks

but in the USA they don’t have restrictions in some places

what do you think? should they be a restriction

Anyone else from Michigan have a hard time getting into Wallsocket

knowing the album is supposed to be set in a fictional Michigan town.

the aesthetic of the album is unfortunately not Michigan at all. it feels like a cowboy/western. It feels more Oklahoma/Texas than michigan

Even the cover art of a horseshoe. And the rocking chairs.

everytime I listen Im taken out cause it sounds like a story of Michigan. from someone that’s never been to Michigan

Why can’t non-Americans accept that soccer isn’t a popular sport here?

I keep seeing vlogs of Europeans shocked that Americans dont even know about the World Cup

Americans in the comments will say ”soccer isnt that popular” which is true

but non-American will chime in to insist we are wrong. as if we don’t know our own country

it might be 4th viewed but that’s just a number. that’s not the lived experience we can all account for.

Americans can tell you the lived experience that Hockey, Golf, Tennis and MMA are all more popular soccer.

why can’t they accept it? soccer is popular to play but not to watch. no one knows who Messi is.
