Looking for a Mediterranean cookbook that includes calories and macros

Title pretty much sums it up, however, it would be beneficial if the cookbook is pretty easy to follow along. All my life, I thought I was a terrible cook. I'd follow recipes and they wouldn't turn out very well. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD. It was then that I discovered that I actually could cook as long as there aren't pages and pages of written instructions. I do best with recipes that are 5-6 steps, obviously I don't expect a cookbook to only have recipes that meet that criteria. However, it would be helpful if the recipes are easy to follow along. I try to be healthy, so calories and macros are a plus.

What is CBT like?

I'm currently in therapy. When I started in early June, I expressed my desire to try CBT but was open to whatever my therapist thought would be best for my constant overthinking/low self-worth feelings. More specifically, my ex-wife cheated on my and said some really terrible things and gave me some sort of PTSD from it. While I've healed 80%, I still struggle with the fear my new spouse will cheat (but not all the time). I told her in the past I've had the most success with action-oriented therapy, meaning, if you give me homework, I will implement it, whereas, when I do traditional talk therapy, I feel better after talking about my feelings, but it feels short-lived.

2 months later, I feel like I'm just doing talk therapy. There was a couple of weeks where she taught me the breathing techniques and the see 5 things, hear 4 things, feel 3 things, etc. But other than that, I feel like we're just talking about my past.

Part of the problem is I'm not going through anything specific right now. Like I said, my fear is oddly situational. Some things trigger my thoughts, but it's usually random. So while my biggest focus is my fear of being cheated on, I'd rather use CBT in all situations where my mind runs amuck.

Is it possible that my therapist is trying to figure out what exactly is the root cause of my anxiety (inner child work) before moving forward to the specific CBT tasks? She did warn me in the beginning that it can take a long time to see improvement, so this part wouldn't be a surprise.

Thanks for your help and guidance. I'm a little on the spectrum and don't always know the best way to approach these types of situations or if expectations are wrong.

Using Creative Commons audio sources that don't allow commercial use

Ok, I just launched my podcast. Right now, I don't have any advertising. My podcast is about birds and uses bird songs in each episode. For all episodes, I've found audio that I can use for commercial/non commercial use. However, for my latest episode, everything I find is for non-commercial use.

My question is, since I'm currently not monetizing my podcast, can I use this audio and then in the future if I launch ads, either leave commercials off this episode or reedit it with audio that I pay for. I'm essentially not wanting to pay for anything right now until I actual monetize my podcast (if it ever gets to that point. Thoughts?

Moving from Spotify for Creators to a different hosting service

Hello, I just launched my podcast. After doing more research, it seems the consensus is to not use Spotify for Creators. I'm curious what platform you all would recommend (this is audio only). Also, do I upload all my current episodes to the new platform I'm assuming? Thanks!

Has anyone taken the University of Washington Statistics with R Certificate courses? [E]

I already have my Masters in IT and currently work as a data scientist. My prior job, I was more of a data engineer than a data scientist, so statistics wasn't a big part of my job. Now that I switched positions, I feel like I need a refresher in statistics. I know this seems to be a beginning level statistics courses, but I honestly feel that's what I need right now. Thoughts?

P.S. I've had friends just recommend free online courses. Thing is, I have ADHD, I need structure or I won't complete the courses. I learn better in school than on my home. Thanks!

Diagnosed with Gallstones yesterday...curious about your experience

Long story short, I started having severe pain this weekend. A lot of cramping, strong pain under my rib cage, acid reflux, the whole nine yards. I went to the ER yesterday when the symptoms didn't go away and was diagnosed with gallstones. Doctor said if I continue feeling pain this week, I should contact a general surgeon to have it removed.

I had a couple of questions for everyone.

  1. If you have gallstones, do you find your symptoms come and go? So, is it like a flair up where there are times in your life you have to really watch what you eat and other times where symptoms aren't as bad? Or has your experience been once you start having pain, you have to give up the good food for life...lol.

  2. Have you found an online resource that has helped guide you on what you can eat or has it been trial and error. I'm actually meeting with a nutritionist next week (this was scheduled prior to the gallstones), but I'd love to know what you've all had success with. My wife and I love ethnic food such as Indian food and Ethiopian food, so I'm frustrated that it looks like I'll have to give up most of the food I love (I know, first world problems, just feeling my feelings here).

Thanks

I'm going to therapy and requested something along the lines of CBT, but I'm not sure I should be doing more

I'm going to therapy to help me deal with some things differently than currently am. Specifically, anxious thought patterns that cause me to get lost in thought for hours. I specifically mentioned CBT but told her that I was open to what she thought was best; however, that I do best with homework as that forces me to put into practice what I'm learning about in therapy.

I've only been going for 5 weeks but wasn't sure if I should be expecting more. She has given me tools to use when ruminating over things (e.g. breathing exercises, etc.). Is this what I should expect? In my experience, talk therapy only gets me so far and doesn't do anything to change my thought patterns. So I guess I was expecting something along the lines of labeling my thoughts or something. I would love your suggestions on if this is something I should bring up to my therapist or if I just need to be paitient.
