Please excuse the not so clean stitching. Why does my flat felled seam at the crotch always look like there’s too much fabric/bunching?

I am following a direct cutout from a pants pattern. It feels impossible for me to press both sides flat before the final stitch.

I read a research article from a team claiming their use of an Nd:YAG laser (I don’t recall if it was in conjunction with injections) saw good results with their patients.

I’ve also heard of IPL for keloid discoloration. Are there specifics that anyone knows about different laser treatments for their keloids?
