For context, I met him during summer school, and we are both introverts. We barely talked since then, but have been having small talk recently on my bus (I don't have any classes with him). Every time we talk, he smiles. I do not know if he's just being nice, but I feel special when he does. I am seeking advice to help me gather up my courage, get as close to him as possible, until I can sit next to him without feeling awkward or scared.
