Has anyone else noticed they sleep significantly worse when the room temperature is even slightly off?

I've realized that if my bedroom is just a little too warm, I wake up multiple times during the night and feel much less rested the next day.

I've tried lowering the thermostat, changing blankets, and even sleeping with one foot outside the covers.

For those who are sensitive to temperature, what has actually helped you sleep better?

I've been dealing with insomnia on and off, and one thing that keeps me motivated is the idea that sleep could be more than just "shutting down."

For those of you who practice lucid dreaming, has it changed the way you feel about sleep?

What was the first thing that made you interested in lucid dreaming?

I've recently started reading more about lucid dreaming and I'm curious what initially drew people into it.

Was it:

  • Exploring your dreams
  • Controlling dream environments
  • Overcoming nightmares
  • Personal growth
  • Something else?

What’s the one thing that keeps you from getting truly restorative sleep?

I've been researching sleep for the past few months and talking to people about what actually prevents them from waking up feeling genuinely rested.

For some people, it's temperature.
For others, it's noise, stress, neck pain, or waking up multiple times during the night.

I'm curious:

What is the single biggest factor that stops you from getting truly restorative sleep?

And if you could magically fix just one thing about your sleep environment, what would it be?

I'm collecting real experiences to better understand what matters most to people.

What’s something simple that actually improved your sleep?

I’ve been reading a lot about sleep tech lately and honestly I feel like most products miss the point.
