My right thumb gets all the abuse. Specifically on the right side of the nail, where I have picked at it everyday for years. I can manage to stop if I intensely use nail oils to keep hangnails from coming, but if I stop I go right back (not that I plan on stopping, I like oiling my nails). Now my nail is super screwed up. From the front it's seemingly fine until you start looking harder. I don't know many terms so I can't really describe the problem in detail but I hope you guys know what I'm talking about from the pictures. Do you guys think it will ever go back to normal? Fifth picture is the healthy side of the nail for reference
Is that a seed pod 😭 if so do I just like... Stick tape around it? Idek
Just posted this guy in a pot along with two lithops a few days ago, asking what this guy is. I looked at it closer today and found it literally was not even attached to the soil. There's no roots.... Nor stem...? I think..? Idk, that's what I'm coming to ask. Assuming this is a gibbaeum heathii, is this thing toast? I assumed is was in dormancy but as time goes on it gets softer and softer so I went to pipette water to see how it reacts and that's when I found there was literally no grounding. Can I save it? If so, how?
Got this from a nursery in florida, clearly it's not a lithops 😭 any guesses? I've seen at least 5 different plants that it could be but I'm not an expert in these whatsoever. Also is it in dormancy or does it need water?
