Snowbirds to fly over Edmonton for last time with existing aircrafts✈️

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will conduct a series of ceremonial flyovers over central Edmonton on Wednesday July 15, 2026.

The flyover is expected to happen between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. but timing may vary depending on operational requirements.

If the weather isn’t cooperating, heavy smoke or operation issues, the flyover may be cancelled or modified.

The best viewing locations will be:
William Hawrelak Park
City Hall Plaza
Alberta Legislature Grounds
O-day'min Park

Rainy days ☔️

With all this rain forecasted, what’s everyone doing! The mosquitos are so bad so stepping anywhere grassy makes me want to hide!

Elk Island Park

It was a beautiful day out at the park. Lots of bear warnings. Mosquitos are out and they are huge!

Closing

Another big store closing, This is what they posted :

After close to 2 years as part of the Windermere community, Tesoro will be closing.
This has been one of the most difficult decisions we've had to make, and it is only possible because of guests like you who made this place so special.
As we say goodbye, everything in-store is 40% off starting Thursday, June 18th at 10 am. Shop early for the best selection, and come by one more time before we close. We will remain open while supplies last.
A couple of scheduling notes:
