I am new to the field of photography. I recently bought a canon 100-400 EF 2 lens. Initially, for a few times I rotated the zoom ring while the tension ring was in tight mode. I felt the resistance. Then I realised I should keep it in smooth mode for work. My question is whether this might have caused any internal problems.
