went to mist my bp today and i found this huge fucking pile of frass. weird to me because there’s nothing new in there. i took out the piece of offending wood and i’m going to bake the rest of his wood when i get home this afternoon. has anybody seen this before? do i have to redo the tank? should i be worried that my house is infested now?

First two pics are the “abscess” — it went from 0 to 100 in less than a week. Indigo had a vet trip on 5/26 to get it checked out, the last two pics are the after. They stabbed it and it was empty! No puss. Keeping it clean but otherwise nothing to be done. Vet said it had to have been an injury that healed with a pocket of inflammation. Wanted to post in case anybody else encounters a weird head bump.
