So we celebrated my Dad’s birthday on Easter Sunday (his birthday was the Tuesday after) and I decided to make him an Easter Burn Cake. I had painted the Easter picture on wafer paper.
However, the edible paint did not burn as easily and edible ink so we had to keep relighting it. & the heat from the fire melted the French Buttercream underneath OOPS.
I was making Swiss Meringue Buttercream for my last cake and accidentally make Butterscotch Sauce so I decided to just add it to the buttercream & make butterscotch cupcakes.
I’ll probably never be able to recreate this recipe because I’m not sure what all I did wrong. 😑 they taste delicious tho
