Bhima offering 22k at ₹11,111 😵

Bhima offering 22k at ₹11,111 😵

What kind of sorcery is this. I have previously bought jewellery in the 0% making charge offer. But this seems to be beat all that. And I’m just scared to order even after 2 previous purchases as it looks too good to be true.

Even with making charges some simple necklaces costing around 13.5k including VA + GST per gram. Market value currently is around 14.2k.

Couldn’t someone just buy via CC and sell it using <12L family member pan and enjoy free money?

Anyone has any idea on what’s happening and how trust worthy this could be?

Edit: Adding a note - not a recommendation or a suggestion to buy. Please do your research before buying

How do they get our phone numbers - do the broker apps simply sell all our data?

And is it a worthy gamble if you have some small cash lying around? 🤪

HSBC Live+ doubts: Welcome cashback, fuel, Visa Infinite, alcohol MCC & fee waiver

Just received my HSBC Live+ card and had a few questions. I’ve gone through the T&Cs but couldn’t find clear answers to some of these.

₹1,000 welcome cashback (₹20k spend within 30 days):
Can the ₹20,000 spend include fuel or jewellery transactions? I know these categories don’t earn regular cashback, but are they still counted towards the ₹20k milestone?

Fuel cashback:
I remember seeing posts about an additional fuel cashback/offer for Live+ if payment is made via Tap & Pay, but I can’t find the details anymore. Is this offer still active? If yes, what’s the cashback and the terms?

Visa Infinite ₹750 cashback offer:
How exactly do we redeem this? Is it through the Visa Infinite website? I also read that the first transaction needs to be at least ₹300 to become eligible. Can someone who’s claimed it explain the process and timeline?

Alcohol purchases:
Does buying alcohol from standalone liquor stores earn the 10% cashback? When I checked the MCCs online, many liquor stores seem to be classified under grocery-related MCCs, so I’m curious about actual experiences.

₹250 online application voucher:
I came across a few Reddit comments mentioning a ₹250 voucher for applying online. I also applied through the HSBC website but never saw this offer mentioned. Was this a limited-time promotion? If eligible, where do I check or claim it?

₹2 lakh annual spend fee waiver:
Do all retail spends count towards the ₹2 lakh annual spend for the annual fee waiver, including categories like fuel and jewellery, even though they don’t earn cashback? Or are those excluded from the spend calculation as well?

Would really appreciate responses from people who’ve recently received the card or have first-hand experience. Thanks!

HSBC Live+ rejection help

Need help regarding HSBC Live+ rejection

I had applied for a Live+ card. VKYC went well, then they sent a mail to my office email. Verified via the link they provided to my office email and it did say successfully verified. An hour later I receive an email saying Application rejected due to Employment could not be verified. Attached the status when I check via their online link as well.

Is there any way to challenge this and get it approved? What do you guys think is the best way here? Via call - customer care or email? Please let me the contacts/mail ids that’ll help

Edit: Adding one more detail - The most weird thing is it says Date of Decision is - 11th. But I verified the email with that link on 12th

EV Charging in Vista Office

Always wondered if the EV charging in the Deloitte office (Vista in Bengaluru or any other place too, just curious) parking is free or if they actually charge a fee for that? If they do, do they deduct it from our Salary or expense it in any other way?

Urban Company Native Purifier 2 Year refresher Kit

I have an M1 Urban Company water purifier that’s a little over 2 years old now, so the warranty period has ended.
I’m not facing any issues with water quality, flow rate, taste, or the purifier itself. The tds we get even without a purifier is around 300. However, UC is recommending and making calls everyday asking that I replace the filters because it has been 2 years. The quoted cost is around ₹5,000.

Is filter replacement really necessary just because 2 years have passed, even if there are no visible issues?
How do Urban Company’s filter/replacement costs compare with brands like Kent, Aquaguard, Livpure, AO Smith, etc.?
Are there any discounts, offers, or negotiation options that existing customers have successfully used?

I’m trying to understand whether this is genuine preventive maintenance or just an upsell
