Pictured are my charge settings. It is programmed to charge only off-peak, in my case midnight to 6 am. Sometimes the car indeed waits til midnight to start charging, but other times it starts charging immediately upon plug-in with no changes having been made to the program. What am I missing? Does this have something to do with level of charge? Thanks!
Had 2 working fobs. Lost one so I had to go through the 30 minute procedure to get a new/2nd fob programmed which worked. I go to program a 3rd new fob and DIC says "Ready for Remote" #3" but after placing this 3rd fob in the little pocket and pressing "Power" nothing happens. The DIC stays stuck on "Ready for Remote #3". I have another Bolt (2017 Premier) for which I programmed a 3rd fob and that went fine with no glitches, so I think I know how this is done. I even sent back to seller this 3rd fob that wouldn't program, they sent a replacement, but even with the new replacement I ran into the same issue. Any suggestions? Thanks!
2018 Premier, 32,000 miles, original GM 12V battery. When plugged in (level 2) and programmed to charge midnight to 6 am "Unable to charge" is displayed after 15-20 minutes. "Immediate" charging works fine. Two battery shops say 12V battery is good. Same level 2 charger works fine on my other Bolt (2017 Premier) in programmed charging mode. I read about disconnecting 12V battery to fix this; does this fix require reprogramming charging? Any other fixes for this? Thanks.
I have two existing and working fobs. I want to program a 3^(rd). Manual says use the new fob’s key to initiate the programming. But can I just use one of the existing cut keys to start the programming? I don’t want to cut the new key if I ultimately can’t get the new fob programmed. FWIW the new fob was purchased from NorthCoast Keyless. Thanks.
