Hi everyone,

So I got my first fit bit 3 days ago. I got the inspire 3 and so far I really like it. However yesterday I discovered the fit bit Air is coming out and it looks interesting. I mostly want the tracking for sleep, steps, and heart rate. I am debating on returning the inspire 3 and getting the Air when it comes out in about a week. I’m also a big mechanical watch enthusiast and I ware one almost everyday. I like how the air looks more like a bracelet and doesn’t look so weird basically waring 2 watches. I’d like some options as I don’t know much about the Air.

I have a pilot MR and a TWISBI eco and they are both great. I decided to also get a Lamy Safari and I’m very disappointed. The nib is very scratchy and the ink skips. I’m not sure why so many people recommend this one when it was more expensive than my pilot MR and FAR worse. Overall I’m disappointed.

I’ve racked up about 160k miles on my Venture X and finally tried to use them for a vacation… and honestly, I’m underwhelmed.

Most of the transfer partners either have pretty weak redemption rates or don’t actually beat the cash price of flights. I spent way more time than I expected trying to find a “good” deal, and it just didn’t feel worth the effort.

At this point, it seems like I’m better off just booking through the Capital One portal using points rather than transferring them out.

Maybe I’m missing something, but the whole points/miles game is starting to feel like a lot of work for minimal payoff. I’m seriously considering switching to a simple cash-back setup and calling it a day.

Curious if others have had the same experience or if I’m just doing this wrong.
