I mostly code with python and i've been thinking about changing my setup.
I'm not looking for anything too complicated. Mainly something that can understand the project, help debugging and make changes across multiple files without me having to explain the whole thing every time.
If you mostly work with Python what does your setup look like these days and how it been working for you?
I've tried Janitor AI, Chai, FictionLab, and a few others, but I still haven't found one that gives me the same feeling as old C.AI.
Mostly looking for natural conversations, solid roleplay, fewer filters, and ideally free or unlimited messages. I also prefer shorter, human-like replies instead of getting an essay every time I say something simple.
Elymi is another one I've been looking into. What Character AI alternatives are you guys actually enjoying right now?
I remember watching anime music videos on YouTube growing up and always thought they were insanely cool. Now I want to try making my own, but I have basically zero editing experience.
I'm especially curious about using AI for the process. What's the best way to learn how to make ai music videos from scratch?

i've been experimenting with animated and cartoon-style videos and trying to fing an ai animation video generator that can handle more than just the visuals.
i've tested a few ai animation tools, but i'm still trying to figure out which ones are actually good for both animation quality and audio. ideally i'd like something that makes the whole ai video animation workflow easier without needing too many separate tools.

I’ve been trying out a few no-code and low-code tools for building simple agent/workflow setups and wanted to compare notes with others here.
The main ones I’ve looked at so far are:
At a high level, they all seem to approach the problem differently.
Tools like n8n, Make, and Zapier are pretty straightforward for basic automation flows and integrations. They’re easy to set up, but start to feel limited when workflows get more complex or require more reasoning steps.
The more agent-focused or low-code tools feel more flexible in terms of logic and structure, but they also seem to require more technical setup than I initially expected.
Right now I’m mostly trying to understand where these tools actually fit in real-world use cases versus just experimentation.
Would be interested to hear what others are actually using and whether any of these have worked well beyond small prototypes.
We’re backing up roughly 900TB on prem right now. Environment is a bit of everything: vSphere VMs, SQL and Oracle, some physical servers, AD, and NAS. We’re on Rubrik at the moment, but the cost is getting harder to justify, so I’ve been looking at what else is out there.
One complication is that we probably won’t be on VMware forever. OpenShift is looking like the more likely direction, so I don’t really want to move to another backup platform that works well for VMware today but leaves us stuck again in a few years. Main requirements are reliable recovery for VMs and databases, physical server support, NAS, and ideally decent support for OpenShift/container workloads as that side grows.
Anyone here managing a similar-sized mixed environment? What did you end up using, and what has the day-to-day experience been like after the migration?
I’m looking for no-code or low-code platforms that make it easy to build simple AI-powered apps using APIs like OpenAI. Ideally something that already includes the basics like a frontend, backend, and simple database setup so I don’t have to stitch everything together manually.
The goal is pretty straightforward, just small internal tools or lightweight apps that can handle API calls and store basic results without building a full stack from scratch.
