Any info would be appreciated! Dyed or not dyed etc.. the clasp is Stirling silver
Any tips and tricks for learning if they are dyed pearls or not would be really helpful?
I don’t have much knowledge about pearls and am getting conflicting results from my own research on the internet so hoping to get some help!
I am keeping my expectations low and at first assumed these were dyed pearls but now think that the whiteness I thought I saw might have been pearl powder around the drill hole as when I smashed one it seems to be a uniform colour throughout the pearl. It was very easy to smash and all the other tests suggest it is a pearl I just wanted to check if maybe these were dyed or possibly glass instead of a black pearl?
I have had trouble finding any similar bracelets online and not sure what the initials on the makers mark mean? I assume it’s taxco silver but not sure if it’s a known maker specifically?
