It left me shocked. People there said that even with 1 million dollar cash and unemployed I can't retire. I have to park them in VT and find a job lol... These people are sick in the brain.

I know the mantra is VT and forget but what if someone is without a job, can't find one, and needs income? How do you build a portfolio like that? I have 1.000.000 cash and I'm 40 but my skills are obsolete thanks to AI. I want to retire in a nice tropical country.
