Working in T&S on the Ops side seems to be constant fight. Fight with Product for prioritization, fight with business for feature enablement, while trying to rally all other stakeholders. How do you handle this? Or is it just my org?
Maybe I am biased but I feel like female engineers always give the right solution and easy to follow answer. I am a data analyst and whenever I ask questions from engineering the male ones provide either not the right thing I am looking for or use very technical approaches. But whenever it is female eng, they always exactly give what I need. Have you noticed?
Dear Komoot, almost in every new route, your app has been taking me to dead end or locked/private property. There is no way i can report this easily on your app so that i prevent other people taking the same route. Please do a better job with your apps as it is actually scary to be somewhere nowhere hitting dead end
Any shy guys here? I need your perspective.
I am interested in my male colleague and want to see if we are a match romantically. We have been saying hello and bit catch up at office in the last 5 months. Then last week we went on a cycling activity together and we text everyday since then. During this ride I figured he was single, before I was not sure.
Now I can see that he is really shy. He initiates the text everyday but never asked me out. He would suggest activity but never directly invites me. So I suggested we should go for a walk whenever suits him. But he never took upon that offer. Also when we run to each other in the office he is almost blushing.
He is much younger than me and I don’t know if I should keep trying or am i being too much. Also at some point I need him to take things into his hands. I can’t be the dom if we get into a romantic relationship.
So if you are a shy guy, what would you want me to do?
AI is great but I don’t know how to handle or react to people who don’t even know the difference between average and median building DBs or doing analysis at my org. One wrong join and you are getting completely different number. I am not even sure if it is my job to explain why the DBs need to be validated. Or am I just being cautious for nothing?
