What an achievement on Day 1.

What an achievement on Day 1.

Ayush Shetty faced off to upset the defending champion Shi Yu Qi in the r64 of the world championships 2026 in an intense 21-14, 13-21, 21-19 thriller. Really nerve wracking experience. Needs to work a bit on the mental tho since Shi Yu Qi almost pulled off a comeback in the last set from 15-6 to 20-19.

Ashmita Chaliha picks the title for Korea Masters 2026.

Great win for Ashmita Chaliha showing great mental strength and recovering after being a set down! Kudos!

I had little hopes for MS since there were 6 contenders in the R32, but I think it was only Srikanth who got a set. Very disappointed by their performance.

Need advice

So, I'm fairly new to the watch world and I am finding this one very attractive and at a fairly reasonable price for an automatic. Need any advice on the movement and whether it would be worth it? Am I missing something here??

Got rejected by HSBC for Live+. But the card got delivered in 11 days.

So, I am 24M (CIBIL 778) and already own 3 cards - HDFC Diners Privilege, AXIS Horizon and KIWI AU Bank Neon. I had applied for HSBC Live+ for primarily the groceries benefit through one of their stalls under my office building.

The application was sent on 17th June and got rejected the very next day. I reached out to the executive that I had talked to while applying and she mentioned that she was on leave for about 2 weeks.

Cut to today, I received a message from Bluedart saying they are delivering my HSBC package. Received the card in the afternoon and with the highest credit out of all my cards (6.59L).

Was about to post here about the rejection, but procastinated and this happened, so thought about atleast posting this for anyone applying for HSBC cards.

Next card recommendation? Looking for critics on current cards + better overall rewards on general spends

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to optimize my credit card portfolio and would appreciate some recommendations.

Profile:

Age: 24 (Indian)

Annual income: 16-18 lakh (trying a side gig too so variable)

Credit score: 778

Existing cards:

  1. Diners Privilege (LTF) - Had upgrade to Mariott Bonvoy but rejected thinking I'll aim for Diners Black

  2. Axis Horizon (Paid) - Wanted atlas but was late to the party. This has an excellent lounge access experience tho.

  3. Kiwi Neon (Paid) - Latest card for UPI transactions on credit.

Available Credit Limit (all 3 cards): 7.59 lakh

Monthly card spend: Ranges between 50k to 150k (My cards are almost like a community card between friends and families)

Spending breakdown (month on month repeating):

* Online shopping: ₹10,000

* Dining/Food delivery: ₹20,000

* Fuel: ₹4,000

One time spends:

Travel/Furniture/Electronics

What I'm looking for:

- Maximum overall rewards/cashback

- Low or easily waivable annual fees

- Open to using multiple cards if the rewards justify it

Questions:

  1. Is cashback currently better than reward-point-focused cards?

  2. Are there any underrated cards that offer excellent value?

  3. I am a big food explorer and am planning to start foreign trips soon, so which card would be best for Forex expenses?

  4. Which combination of 2–4 cards would provide the best overall return?

Thanks in advance!
