Has anyone had an A/C leak behind the dash where the entire dash had to be removed? That is what we need to get done and I’m nervous about who to hire since it’s a tricky and expensive problem. Just wondering if anyone has any advice before I start looking. A mechanic whom I trust ran a bunch of tests and is fairly certain this is where the problem is. 2008 Prius.

It seems about half the time I’m trying to catch a bus, and get to work on time, the buses have their transponders off, or at least one of my routes. The “scheduled bus” is not helpful. Does anyone know the transponder situation and why they’re off so often?
