Why did i die with energy shield still up?
lvl 80 zone
very confused, i have 70% evasion but that can not proc, ok fine, i have 95% chance to deflect with 56% damage prevented from deflection, that can not proc, ok fine, i have loyalty on my minions, but like i just instantly die? to an auto attack? and it looks like my energy shield is still up when i die which is odd, like ive been one shot before and both my ES and life go to 0 then, not like this.
This is floor 1 of trial of chaos, only thing i picked was grasping slow thingies on hit.
Only thing i can think of is the mob is bugged in some way, i have stoat idol in my chest so 5% of damage taken bypasses my ES, maybe the idol is bugged and caused me to die in some way?

EDIT1: Out of curiosity i went back in stood still, i died again to a one shot from a normal auto attack, im starting to think the Idol might be bugged and is whats causing me to just insta die.
EDIT2: i removed the Stoat Idol, i stopped insta dying, its what was causing me to just get one shot, i had it in my primal markings chest combined with a fox idol, maybe its that combination that causes you to just instantly die, unless it just kills you always period but i would assume that bug wouldve been known and fixed then.
EDIT3: Based on similar reports on the forums im 100% convinced Stoat Idol is bugged and just causes you to get one shot, the only question is what else is needed? current assumption is primal markings chest and loyalty, potentially also damage taken from mana, eitherway removing Stoat Idol fixes everything, putting it in causes you to instantly die.
